Inventory and Logistics Coordinator

The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the accurate management and control of inventory within a manufacturing environment focused on sonar imaging equipment. This role ensures materials are properly received, stored, tracked, and issued to support production, sales, and service. The position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient stockroom operations, supporting work order fulfillment, and enabling on-time shipping of finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stockroom Management

• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient stockroom
• Accurately track inventory levels using ERP/MRP systems
• Perform routine cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits
• Monitor stock levels and flag shortages or discrepancies
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of sensitive electronic and mechanical components
• Monitor consumables to be sure our minimum quantity levels are maintained

Work Order Processing & Material Kitting

• Review and release work orders for production
• Pick and kit materials required for assembly, service, and manufacturing jobs
• Ensure kits are complete, accurate, and delivered on time to production teams
• Return unused materials to inventory and reconcile discrepancies
• Work closely with Finance team on adjustments made to inventory

Shipping & Receiving Support

• Cross train with our Shipping & Receiving and serve as a backup resource for when that area requires support. This function includes:
• Assist with incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage
• Accurately receive materials into inventory systems
• Coordinate with purchasing and quality teams on any discrepancies or non-conforming materials
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including finished goods and spare parts
• Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and compliance with shipping requirements
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency
• Support implementation of best practices in inventory control and material handling
• Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures

Qualifications and Essential Skills

Experience

• 3+ years of inventory, stockroom, or warehouse experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Experience using computers and inventory management systems (ERP/MRP preferred)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and part numbers
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, inventory systems)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and manual handling of materials throughout the day

The Position:

• Independent and autonomous management of solar construction projects of various sizes and complexities from pre-construction to project closeout using company processes and procedures resulting in meeting or exceeding planned profits
• Understanding Project Management process and tools including: project scheduling, financial reporting and budget management, project communications plan, contracts, BIM tools, and other project related processes
• Manage all financial aspect of projects
• Listening to client and subcontractor concerns, identify issues and react accordingly
• Provide conceptual information to groups to illustrate ideas and concepts
• Facilitate and lead productive/effective meetings
• Preparation of project baseline schedules and schedule updates through the life of the project; using actual versus baseline to substantiate delays and impacts as appropriate
• Project financial budget vs. actuals tracking, management, and mitigation
• Field productivity tracking estimate vs. actual, and course correction to protect labor budget and project profit
• Project safety ownership including weekly audits and incident investigation and reporting; positive contributor to company safety culture
• Identification of project impacts and delays, timely notifications per the contract documents, and detailed documentation preparation to prepare and submit claims
• Problem solving, understand the root cause of problems, develop solutions, and follow through implementation
• Comprehend complex concepts of a project and manage for success
• Overnight travel 3-4 days per week throughout the Midwest

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in the Solar Industry.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or applicable equivalent training/experience preferred, Geotechnical experience is a plus.
• Robust knowledge of installation of all electrical systems, specifically PV / DC systems
• Estimating takeoff capabilities
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient, Excel expert
• Effective and professional communication, oral and written
• Effective problem-solving with the ability to make time sensitive decisions in complex situations

MISSION CRITICAL DATA CENTER EXPERIENCE A MUST

We are seeking 3 experienced Low Voltage / Estimator with strong expertise in low-voltage cabling and LV infrastructure to support the growth and execution of White Space Fit Out (WSFO) projects in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

This role plays a key part in solutioning, pricing, proposal development, and execution, with hands-on involvement in both preconstruction and project implementation.

Position Summary

The Capture Manager – LV / Estimator is responsible for supporting the development of low-voltage cost estimates, budgets, and proposals across a portfolio of construction projects. The role requires deep technical knowledge of LV systems and their integration into the broader WSFO scope, including cable tray, ladder rack, fiber runner systems, containment, caging, floor tile cuts, power whips/feeders, and BCMS/EPMS systems.

This position works cross-functionally with sales, engineering, preconstruction, execution, and finance teams to drive successful project outcomes from pursuit through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret RFP/RFQ documents and support the RFI process related to LV and WSFO scopes
• Identify project risks and challenges during the solutioning phase
• Develop ROM and detailed LV cost estimates for standalone and integrated project scopes
• Support proposal development and pricing strategies
• Maintain an organized database of bid documents for transition to project kickoff
• Identify potential additional revenue opportunities
• Coordinate with internal teams including sales, engineering, preconstruction, execution, and finance
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Research labor, material, and time requirements using drawings, specs, and related documentation
• Perform site visits and document findings for internal teams
• Create shop drawings and documentation to support potential change orders
• Support estimation and procurement to ensure accurate material ordering and pricing
• Participate in site walks to support accurate labor and material pricing for new opportunities

Travel: Approximately 10% travel required

Qualifications

Required / Preferred Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in LV installation, estimation, and on-site project management preferred
• 2+ years of construction estimating experience with mission-critical systems
• Data center experience (UPS, batteries, maintenance) preferred
• Electrical estimating experience a plus
• Strong understanding of contract terms, conditions, and exhibits
• Proven ability to develop, justify, and manage budgets
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Creative, solutions-oriented mindset focused on cost optimization without compromising quality
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with estimating and takeoff tools such as:
• Accubid, RS Means, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Building Connected
• Familiarity with AutoCAD
• Experience using fiber testing and splicing tools/software (Fluke, Viavi, Fujikura, Sumitomo, etc.)
• Experience with Procore for vendor and project management

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working on ladders (up to 12’) and from lifts at height
