Job Summary

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a Natural Gas Power Plant. This includes water treatment systems, circulating water systems, condensate/feedwater systems, heat recovery steam generator systems, turbine systems, gas turbine systems, generator systems, control systems, electrical systems, and various other plant systems. Is required to show initiative in his/her area of responsibility.

The salary range for this position is $48.00 to $57.47 per hour plus amazing benefits and other incentives. Additional compensation for overtime work.

Key Accountabilities:

•Proficient in primary skill required of position.

•Proficient mechanical and electrical skills for maintaining equipment at the plant.

•Performs troubleshooting and documentation and assists in the resolution of problems discovered on shift.

•Performs daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems.

•Makes decisions and recommends appropriate repair techniques for plant equipment to peers, supervisors, plant management.

•Conducts excitation system inspections and preventive maintenance.

•Proficient in operating material handling equipment.

•Develops and implements plant operating procedures.

•Understands relationship of equipment to plant systems.

•May provide instruction and teaching to lower-level employees.

•Ensures strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures as they relate to plant operations and maintenance including but not limited to Lockout Tagout, Job Safety Analysis, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety and PPE.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

•At least 4 years related experience.

•Satisfactory completion of Tier 2 within primary skill for position job performance measure.

•Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.

•If applicable, candidate will hold the required level of state license as recognized by the governing body of that particular state (MA, OH).

•Demonstrate computer-based skills.

•Demonstrate effective oral & verbal communications skills.

•Independent knowledge of troubleshooting.

•Must pass POSS/MASS pre-employment test.

•This position can be filled at a level I, II, III or IV depending on experience and skill level.

Physical Requirements:

The Construction Supervisor must have experience writing contract scopes of work and collaborating with contract administrators. Technical knowledge of mechanical combustion turbine generators, auxiliary support equipment, and balance-of-plant (BOP) assets is required.

• This role requires planning and organizing Mechanical Combustion Turbine Generator projects to achieve project objectives.
• Strong leadership, team-building, outage coordination, planning, scheduling, and supervisory experience are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training:

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field with field engineering experience

• Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and gas turbine/generator disassembly/reassembly and maintenance experience required.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in project management, technical training, and/or experience in GE frame 7FA gas turbines and generators, turbine operations, unit commissioning, outage planning for borescope inspections, hot gas path inspections, and major outage inspections for turbines and generators, outage execution of centerline of turbines and generators, including auxiliary turbine/generator support equipment.
• Supervision in leading centerline outages from project initiation to project completion.

Field Superintendent

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Construction Field Superintendent with Underground Power experience in the Los Angeles area. Ability to complete construction projects by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors, field staff, and sub-contractors.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Directly oversees job site personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work schedules and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
• Works with Project Manager and Scheduler in the development and refinement of the project schedule to keep the schedules properly updated and see that the job meets the completion date while meeting budget
• Responsible for approving all expenses for each assigned job; ensure they are applied to the proper job and phase code
• Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times
• Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specific times to conform to work schedules
• Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules
• Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used, costs and adjusts work schedules as indicated on reports
• Completes Daily Field Production Reports on a daily basis
• Monitors contract compliance for each job to ensure the company is protected regarding liabilities matters and liens
• Required to participate in resolving labor disputes and related negotiations are required
• Responsible for obtaining signed change orders when appropriate and submitting to their Managers and Accounting for processing
• Provide directions to the A/R department to ensure invoices are properly and timely created

Qualifications and Experience

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred
• 10 plus years of Construction knowledge and experience working in the capacity of a General Foreman or Superintendent in Underground Utility Installation

The Production Supervisor serves as a vital member of the manufacturing operations site leadership team reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This position will be responsible for leading Manufacturing functions for a hydraulic assembly operations plant. The chosen candidate will effectively direct and lead all aspects of manufacturing operations as well as provide critical support to continuously improve Quality in our manufacturing processes. This person must possess a “continuous improvement” mindset and be a champion of LEAN efforts throughout the facility. Moreover, this position will be supported by a leadership team that values Lean Manufacturing principles and understands the value and link to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

· Utilize data driven processes to achieve key performance goals that meet or exceed manufacturing requirements and increase customer satisfaction. Follow world-class operational standards for measuring and communicating visual metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, etc.

· Work with plant direct and indirect labor to manage daily operations and consistently apply practices and enforce policies.

· Working with the Quality organization, manage the corrective action process. This is achieved through utilization of 8D/A3 problem solving, and customer audits. Achieve Cost Reduction through championing data-drive decisions and utilization of Lean and Six-Sigma problem-solving techniques.

· Must take ownership and accountability for improving safety throughout the operation and support the organization’s overall HSSE mission

· Drive continuous improvement processes by utilizing CMOS techniques to increase output and lower costs in manufacturing/assembly areas.

· Support and ensure ISO 9001 processes and procedures are maintained and coordinates preventative measures to enhance system capability. Provide leadership for problem resolution and use formalized root-cause problem solving approaches (5-Why, 4-Block, 8D, etc.) to effectively define problems and drive to solutions.

• Own revenue, profit, and margin growth across Parts & Remanufacturing.
• Lead pricing strategy, margin optimization, and policy governance.

Sales Team Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead and manage the Aftermarket Parts Sales Team.
• Evaluate departmental capability gaps and implement structured development plans.
• Lead weekly department meetings focused on performance, backlog, and execution.

Operational Fulfillment Oversight

Deliver world-class performance in safety, quality, fulfillment, productivity, and cost.

• Own end-to-end order lifecycle execution
• Develop and execute the Parts Fulfillment Strategy, including:
• Lead parts stocking initiatives and inventory optimization efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of capital equipment manufacturing environments.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aftermarket parts, remanufacturing, service operations, or customer-facing commercial roles.
• Demonstrated experience owning commercial growth and operational execution within a product or business line.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong analytical capability with advanced data analysis skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, dashboards, financial modeling) at a minimum.
• Proven ability to balance analytical thinking with hands-on problem solving.

• Fixturing, setting up, and operating production machinery in accordance with blueprints and specifications
  
• Programming, editing, and monitoring feeds and speeds of machines during the machining process to ensure operational efficiency
  
• Producing the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, Bridgeports, bedmills, and EDM, etc.
  
• Operating metalworking, sawing, brazing, welding, and cutting equipment as needed
  
• Measuring finished parts with precision measurement tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Minimum 1-3 years experience with Mazak CNC machines
  
• Experience programming and operating Fanuc EDM, Mazak Lathe, and Mazak milling machines
  
• Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures, and experience operating CNC machines
  
• Good mechanical aptitude and math skills including arithmetic, algebra, and trigonometry preferred
  
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and tolerance specifications
  
• Experience with Fusion 360 or Inventor a plus
  
• Knowledge and understanding of BOMs, and other related manufacturing documents is preferred
  
• MIG Welding experience is a plus
