Top-notch academic background as well as excellent written and oral advocacy skills required. Judicial clerkships are a plus. Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. We have an immediate opening for a Legal Administrative Assistant in our Harrisburg Office to work with our Energy & Utilities Practice Group. This position requires legal secretary experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a desire to learn.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Format legal documents
· File legal documents
· Correspond with clients
· Maintain calendars (deadlines, discovery, etc.)
· Search, file, and assemble information.
· Type letters, documents, and reports.
· Review documents for accuracy.
· Organize and maintain files.
Qualifications:
· Demonstrate proficiency in data management software
· Possess excellent written and verbal skills
· Be familiar with certain court procedures
· Meet deadlines
· Knowledge of energy and utilities a plus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have some relevant job or educational experience which clearly demonstrates the capability of performing the typical job tasks listed below.
Must type 65 WPM.
Must have good grammar, spelling, and organizational skills.
Must have the desire to learn new programs as necessary.
Requirements:
