Role Description - 1099 POSITION (NO BENEFITS) - $25-30 / hr
This is a part-time (Wed/Thurs + Sun), on-site role located in Fox River Grove, IL, for a Lead Medical Assistant specializing in interventional pain management at the Pain & Vascular Institute.The Lead Medical Assistant will manage daily clinical operations, assist with care coordination, and liasion with insurance companies working prior authorizations/appeals. Responsibilities also include preparing examination rooms, maintaining patient medical records, administering patient education, and adhering to clinical protocols and procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to delivering care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and at least 1+ year of prior experience in pain management.
- Experience in Medical Office operations and maintaining accurate Medical Records
- Strong Patient Care skills, adhering to a compassionate and service-oriented approach

The Institutional Client Onboarding Analyst works directly with our Sales Relationship Managers, Service Relationship Managers, international institutional clients and consultants, international custodians, and various internal groups to on-board and maintain accounts for international institutional investors. The Institutional Client Onboarding Analyst acts as project manager to improve current processes and resolve operational issues associated with the complex workings of international accounts that trade in overseas equity markets.
The Day-to-Day:
* Manage the on-boarding of new institutional segregated and fund accounts
* Subject matter expert as it relates to international institutional funds and separately managed accounts
* Research and resolve operational issues pertaining to international institutional investor accounts, at times working with other groups in the process
* Assist the Institutional Client Services Relationship Managers and Sales Relationship Managers with complex client service requests
* Assist the Institutional Client Operations Team Leader with the ongoing development of the Institutional Client Operations Team members including ongoing training, workflow management and peer reviewing sensitive items
* Create, develop, document and implement workflows and process improvements to serve the needs of our international institutional investors as they relate to additions, withdrawals, account set-up, and changes to their accounts
* Responsible for understanding and documenting the nonstandard operational issues typical of accounts trading in international markets, directed brokerage relationships, and other unique institutional trading operations

Salary range:
The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment. See the following table for the current salary scale for this position: . TSP hourly rate $65. The current full-time salary range for Lecturer positions is $75,301 - $199,722. Starting salary is commensurate with highest degree, teaching experience, and equity within the department.
Percent time:
8% to 100% (Lecturer only)
1-40 hours per week (Both Lecturer and TSP)
TSP positions are part time and paid on an hourly basis depending on the need.
Anticipated start:

Position description
The Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, is seeking qualified temporary instructors to teach undergraduate courses, graduate courses, and/or special topics workshops should an opening arise in the Fall and Spring semesters, or for the Summer term. Applicants should accurately list their specializations so they can be properly evaluated as course needs arise; the existence of this pool does not guarantee that a position is available.
Lecturers supervise student design projects, give lectures, prepare assignments and project topics & deliverables, hold regular office hours, prepare exams or hold reviews, give design advice, and submit final grades.
In addition to lecturers, we also seek Teacher Special Programs (TSP) instructors, should an opening arise. The TSP's principal responsibilities can range from teaching a short course, providing a lecturer with industry expertise, participating in design critiques during a course, teaching at Jacobs Institute boot camps or workshops, or contributing to major curriculum development.

Preferred qualifications
For Lecturer positions: A higher level degree and/or prior expertise in teaching in either design or engineering schools at the undergraduate and/or master's level. Position SummaryThe Director of Institutional Advancement, Berklee NYC, is a newly created, strategic role designed to launch and lead philanthropic partnerships in support of the campus's bold vision. Required Experience & Skills:

Position description
The Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a Postdoc in the Bouchard Lab, in the area of theoretical neuroscience. The Bouchard lab at UC Berkeley is an interdisciplinary team that focuses on understanding how distributed neural circuits give rise to coordinated behaviors and perceptions. There will be collaboration with the lab members at LBNL. We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to work at the interface of control theory, information theory, dynamical systems, statistical machine learning, and neural time-series data. The goal is to better understand principles and mechanisms underlying distributed brain network computations through the dual lenses of control theory and information theory. This position will focus on developing and applying theory, models, and methods that provide principled understanding of simultaneous multi-region, high-dimensional neural population dynamics from diverse brain areas.
The position is located at UC Berkeley (UCB), in collaboration with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), and is part of a broader collaborative effort between UCSF, LBNL, UCB, and UC Davis. This Bay Area collaboration combines UCSF/UCD's strong clinical and experimental neuroscience experience with in vivo cortical electrophysiology, UCB's expertise in theoretical neuroscience, statistical learning and data analysis, LBNL's supercomputing and applied mathematics together with electronics and micro-fabrication. We welcome applicants with strong foundations in empirical methods in economics and/or experience designing, implementing, or overseeing large-scale randomized controlled trials.
The ideal postdoctoral scholar will have demonstrated excellence in using modern empirical methods-including econometrics, experimental and quasi-experimental techniques, and/or machine learning approaches for prediction and causal inference-to study policy-relevant questions in development, labor, mental health, or related fields. We seek a postdoctoral scholar who bridges applied microeconomics with behavioral and mental-health insights, using empirical and machine-learning tools to study social and economic policy.
Duties of Position:
The position offers direct engagement in new and exciting research opportunities and personal mentorship from faculty and researchers on the team. The postdoctoral scholar will gain an expanded network of collaborators and become a member of the UC Berkeley research community by actively participating in seminar series and internal workshops to present and receive feedback on their work.
The postdoctoral scholar will be expected to join and develop a research agenda in collaboration with their supervisor and Faculty Director, Paul Gertler, along with Laura Chioda, IBSI's Chief Data Scientist, and IBSI's network of researchers.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree), or enrolled in a Ph.D. or equivalent international degree program at the time of application.
Additional qualifications (required at time of start)
* Ph.D. (or equivalent international degree) by the start date.
* No more than three years of post-degree research experience.
Preferred qualifications
Ph.D. holders in economics and related fields specializing in applied microeconomics, development, mental health, or behavioral economics are invited to apply.
We particularly encourage applications from postdoctoral scholars whose work integrates theory-driven mechanisms with rigorous empirical analysis, including field experiments (RCTs) or the use of large-scale administrative datasets. Experience developing research projects in collaboration with non-academic stakeholders-such as NGOs, governments, or industry partners-is highly valued.
Preferred Technical & Professional Skills
* Advanced Programming: Proficiency in R, Stata, and/or Python.
* Computational Expertise: Familiarity with machine-learning methods for prediction and causal inference, including experience with unstructured data.
* Quantitative Foundation: Strong skills in econometrics and statistics, backed by advanced doctoral coursework.
* Data Management: Excellent organizational capabilities and experience managing complex datasets.
* Communication & Collaboration: Fluency in English with the ability to communicate research findings clearly and work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Professionalism: High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams efficiently.
