Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Demonstrated experience managing water/wastewater projects from planning through design and into construction, including responsibility for schedule and budget.
• Strong technical skills in water/wastewater treatment processes, pumping facilities, and collection/distribution systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to lead client meetings and prepare clear technical reports and presentations.

Preferred Experience

• 10–15 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater consulting, with an emphasis on treatment plant projects.

The Director of Engineering – PLM & Data Governance is responsible for the strategy, architecture, governance, and operational reliability of the organization’s digital engineering ecosystem. This role oversees Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CAD configuration management, and engineering data infrastructure.

This leader ensures that engineering artifacts such as CAD models, bills of materials, specifications, requirements, revisions, and engineering change records are accurate, secure, compliant, and accessible across the organization. Bachstein Consulting is growing, and we’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician to support our firearms research, development, and testing efforts.

This is a shop-based, hands-on role working closely with engineers to build prototypes, assemble test hardware, support range testing, and keep development programs moving quickly. Our in-house machine shop supports rapid iteration and low-rate production, allowing ideas to move quickly from concept to functional hardware.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and working with mechanical systems in a fast-moving development environment.

• Assemble and modify prototype firearm components and test hardware
