- Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating charts
- Seat guests and maintain control of wait times
- Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leaving
- Answer restaurant telephone line during assigned hours of operation

- Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred

What will you do?
- Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
- Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen and bar staff
- Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning
More about you
- Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
- Beneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

What will you do?
- Communicate with Office Coordinator or Laundry Supervisor regarding Housemen needs for linens for the floors and cottage
- Operate and tend the machines including washing and drying articles, such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets ensuring the correct volume of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives are used as needed
- Sort, count and put away articles removed from dryers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry closet
- Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment
- Record all loads washed and dried to calculate productivity including loss of linens due to stains, tears and wear

How will you make an impact?
Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. - Recruit, interview and hire for the Environmental, Health, Facilities and Safety team.
- Communicate criteria to recruiters for the Environmental, Health, Facilities and Safety team.
- Coach Facilities and EHS staff in the interviewing/hiring process if required.
- Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.
Employee and Team Development
- Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
- Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility
- Programs, Safety & Health Programs, Emergency plans, Business Continuity Plan)
- Coach and mentor Facilities and EHS team members to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer
- Create and manage succession plans for EHS and Facilities function.
Performance Management
- Establish departmental goals and objectives in accordance with industry standards, and overall improvement / profitability of the company.
- Solicit ongoing feedback from peers and team member on team member’s contribution to the Facilities and EHS team. Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team member based on feedback
- Express pride in staff and encourage them to feel good about their accomplishments.
- Perform team member evaluations professionally and on time.
- Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in departmental goals, in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.

- Provide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department.

- Influence organization to practice proper EHS procedures using marketing strategies and easy to use tools.
- Develop and implement the automation vision and strategy for the organization

- Optimize automation equipment, improve production efficiency, including where necessary reforming the existing automation technology.

How will you get here?
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
- 10 years of related experience in industrial maintenance and facilities
- 5 years of experience in management/technical experience in all aspects of facilities management, which includes Facilities Engineering and EHS Management experience
- Pharmaceutical facilities industry experience a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, financial, operations and computer skills.
- Direct supervisory experience in the disciplines mentioned above preferred.
- Proven skills in leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
