Schedule: 14 days per month OR 18 days per month
Run off of 7 on / 7 off model, either a true 7/7 (182 shifts per year) or a modified 7/7 with 3 additional days worked per 28 (216 shifts per year)

Salary starts at: $210K for 182 shifts or starts at $250K for 216 shifts
Variable based upon years of experience, but these base salaries are for new grads - base salary will be higher with experience!

Rounding Flow:
Midlevels handle all admissions 24/7 at contracted hospitals
Mid-level support NOT available at smaller hospitals, but most of the time we do not have new physicians round at facilities without mid-level support until they ve been with the company for about 1 year.
18-25 avg census per shift including follow ups and new ones added throughout the day
Hard cap of 25 pts per day for 1st year out of residency
Closed ICUs, but we medically manage the patients
No procedures or codes
Must stay on-site until 3pm, but out the door by 5pm, continue to take pages remotely until 7pm
NO NIGHTS!
We cross-credential. Most physicians will round in 1 facility. In Pinellas county, they will round at multiple facilities, but typically not within the same day. If they are asked to go to 2 facilities, it will be within a 5 mile radius of their home base.

Description

Hardin Valley Internal Medicine, a division of Summit Medical Group, has an opening for an experienced Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join their passionate, authentic, and growing team of professionals for Back Office. Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned)

  • Handles phone nursing when appropriate, to include triaging, pre-certs, referrals, calling in prescriptions, etc.
  • Performs clerical duties necessary for the provider to see patients such as contacting patients regarding test results and/or other related reasons as directed.
  • Pulls and prepares patient records for physicians to treat patients, as needed.
  • If needed, schedules patient appointments with efficient use of clinical time slots.
