Chief / Medical Director- Outpatient FM/IM Primary Care - Boston We have a leadership opportunity for a Site Chief/Medical Director to lead our Boston Post Office Square practice in the Financial District. The Chief will provide clinical leadership and oversight to a team of 14 physicians and advanced practice clinicians. This position is responsible for aligning clinical activities with the implementation of mission-specific strategies, and works collaboratively with colleagues, staff, management, and the community. This position reports to the Associate Chair of Internal/Family Medicine and is both a clinical and administrative role. Our Post Office Square outpatient, multispecialty practice:
  • delivers integrated care among primary care providers, specialists & ancillary departments, including on-site pharmacy, laboratory & radiology services as well as ObGyn, Nutrition and PT
  • affiliates with Beth Israel/Lahey and their community hospitals
  • is conveniently located on Milk Street in downtown Boston, is accessible by public transportation, and has proudly cared for the community since 1984

Expected qualifications:
  • BC in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM)

About Us:

  • Nationally recognized 345-bed tertiary hospital
  • Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Two 12-bed Surgical ICUs (SICU & CTICU)
  • Collaborative team: 12 APPs, 14 Intensivists, Residents
  • Diverse patients: Cardiothoracic, Trauma, Transplant, Neurosurgery,

Qualifications:

  • MA PA license required.
  • Must work nights & weekends.
