JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The CT Technologist performs a variety of computerized tomographic procedures under the supervision of the Radiologist, utilizing knowledge of ionizing radiation and computer techniques.
- Our CT Tech demonstrates concern for patients and co-workers at all times.
- CT Technologist is one who successfully acquired certification in CT.
EDUCATION:
- Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), CT certification preferred.
- This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview
- CT board certification required within 12 months of hire
EXPERIENCE:
While experience in CT or a related radiology position is preferred, UVM Medical Center offers on-the-job CT training to candidates with active ARRT certification. Education materials are provided, and the cost of the CT certification exam is reimbursed after successfully passing the exam. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
SCHEDULE:
This position is scheduled for five evening/night 8-hour shifts during a two-week pay period. While call is not required at this time, this may change if the need arises.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist:
Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.
Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.
Hours - Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage
Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. More details - Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.
Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.
Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont.

EXPERIENCE:

The Radiology Department performs 25,000 imaging exams annually using CT Philips ingenuity 64 slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D for mammography. CT and general x-ray services are available 24/7, with ultrasound and MRI performed on weekdays with weekend ultrasound call coverage.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking experienced CT/Rad Tech with excellent customer service skills.
Cross training into other modalities and certification (based on Radiology Department needs) is required, and existing CT certification is required. Mammo certification desirable.
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing routine, trauma, intraoperative, radiological imaging.
In addition to competitive pay, this position is eligible for the following differentials:
Evening $3/hour
Weekend $2/hour (in addition to any applicable Evening or Night differentials)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school and certification by the ARRT or its equivalent.

Job Summary
Feldman Shepherd seeks an experienced full-time Paralegal to support the medical negligence and birth injury practice team in the Philadelphia office.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in personal injury and medical malpractice and specifically exposure to cases involving individuals and families who have been catastrophically injured as a result of birth and neonatal/pediatric negligence, as well as general medical negligence. Also, experience dealing with cases of families of children with cerebral palsy and brain or spinal cord injuries caused by medical negligence is desired.
The successful candidate will also have experience coordinating matters through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, expert development, and trial. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, work well with managing deadlines and possess excellent client service skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Obtain, review, analyze, and summarize medical records and legal documents
- Prepare medical summaries and chronologies
- Prepare pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and other documents
- Prepare trial binders and exhibits
- Coordinate and calendar hearings and deadlines, including all correspondence and logistics necessary
- Support attorneys by preparing documents, fact checking, preparing evidence for presentation and track case developments; research and compile information to strengthen cases
- E-file court documents in state/federal courts
- Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and others
- Research, evaluate, and retain expert witnesses
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling matters dealing with birth and neonatal/pediatric negligence as well as families of children with cerebral palsy and brain or spinal cord injuries caused by medical negligence
- Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and documents using electronic filing systems
- Exhibit high degree of initiative in managing multiple priorities concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment

- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
