The Opportunity
The Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences (BSBS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Medicine, invites outstanding applicants for a position as Instructor of Medicine. This non-tenure earning position will consist of laboratory instruction and supervising teaching assistants in the undergraduate Physiology teaching labs in the Burnett School on the main campus. Other aspects of the position can include mentoring students, leading undergraduate honors in the major projects, and service at the department, college, or university level. The anticipated start date is May or June 2026.

Position description
The Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Program at UC Berkeley offers an interdisciplinary undergraduate major in Political Economy. In addition, it offers a Designated Emphasis in Political Economy.
The Political Economy Program at the University of California, Berkeley invites applicants to apply to a pool of qualified temporary instructors.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION: Teaching one or more of the following courses:
* Classical Theories of Political Economy;
* Contemporary Theories of Political Economy;
* Special topics in Political Economy, such as finance, development, globalization, inequality, poverty, and policy-related issues;
* World History: a survey course in modern world history, with an emphasis on Political Economy;
* Regional courses (example, Africa, Asia, East Europe, Latin America, etc.) that address Political Economy themes;
* Interdisciplinary approaches to Political Economy;
* Development Studies;
* Critical Thinking and/or Theories and Methods courses;
* Thesis writing courses.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties may include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g. syllabus), writing exams, interacting with students outside of class time via email and/or a course web site, and managing teaching assistants.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Adjunct Faculty instructors at Saint Xavier University are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, and/or clinical settings. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, departmental communication, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
