We are seeking an Applied Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade machine learning systems across the healthcare enterprise.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused primarily on predictive modeling, optimization systems, decision engines, and scalable ML infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines strong modeling expertise with production engineering and MLOps experience.
In addition to traditional ML, this role will have opportunities to explore and implement Generative AI and LLM-powered capabilities as part of TAG’s evolving AI roadmap.
This role works in close partnership with Enterprise IT and Platform Engineering to ensure production-grade reliability and scalability.
Essential Responsibilities
Machine Learning Development & Modeling (Primary Focus)
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and ML algorithms to address business challenges such as: Schedule Optimization, Propensity Segmentation, Demand Forecasting, and Pricing
- Conduct experimentation, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning to improve model performance in collaboration with data scientists
- Implement advanced modeling techniques including tree-based methods, deep learning, and optimization algorithms.
- Translate business requirements into scalable ML solutions in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Take ownership of model performance from experimentation through production monitoring.
MLOps & Production Engineering (Core Expectation)
- Build scalable, secure, production-grade ML pipelines using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Contribute to implementing distributed training workflows, batch and real-time inference systems, and low latency serving architectures
- Deploy models via APIs and integrate with enterprise applications.
- Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Kubernetes, Cloud Run, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Implement CI/CD workflows for ML lifecycle management within defined architecture
- Ensure reproducibility, versioning, and governance of models and features.
Monitoring, Reliability & System Optimization
- Define and track key performance metrics for deployed models.
- Implement monitoring frameworks (e.g., Vertex AI Model Monitoring, logging, drift detection).
- Analyze model behavior in production and proactively improve reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure models meet scalability and compliance requirements.
Emerging AI Capabilities (Growth Area)
- Contribute to the development of LLM-powered solutions where appropriate (e.g., knowledge retrieval, decision-support copilots).
- Support implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using BigQuery and Vertex AI.
- Assist in experimentation with agent-based workflows and modern orchestration frameworks as part of TAG’s evolving AI initiatives.
- Stay current with advancements in Generative AI and evaluate their practical application to enterprise healthcare use cases.
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Platform, Data and Software Engineering teams
- Create clear documentation for models, pipelines, and systems.
- Promote engineering best practices across data science and analytics teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of TAG’s ML platform capabilities.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related technical field with 3-5 years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or related technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Experience building and deploying production-grade ML systems at scale.
- Strong hands-on experience with: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Vertex AI (training, pipelines, deployment, monitoring), BigQuery and data warehousing
- Experience with distributed systems, model deployment, and API development.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system design.
Preferred
- Experience with optimization algorithms or decision-support systems.

Summary:
As a Salesperson, your main responsibility is to provide support to the sales team by performing administrative and customer service tasks. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and help achieve sales targets. Your primary goal is to assist the sales team in generating revenue for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in the store or over the phone.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately.
- Revise sales orders and follow up on backorders, claims, and contracts.
- Communicate with stores, buyers, and distribution centers to ensure sufficient quantities, correct system pricing, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure on-time payments.
- Assist in sales meetings and events.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

- Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Aleknagik Technology, LLC (ATL) is an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) providing facilities and operations management, and a broad spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services and support.
ATL provides a full range of legal services for the Office of Civil Rights (OCR), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), United States Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, D.C. We provide all personnel required to perform research and analysis tasks and functions.
The OCR is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that recipients of Federal financial assistance from the DOJ comply with civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination in the delivery of services and employment practices. The OCR ensures recipients of financial assistance from OJP, the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office), and the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) adhere to applicable federal civil rights laws.
In addition to its civil rights enforcement responsibilities, the OCR provides staff support, legal guidance, and policy advice to the Review Panel on Prison Rape (Panel), established pursuant to the Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 (PREA), 42 U.S.C. §§ 156 Pub. L. No. 108-79, 117 Stat. 972).
Tasks
The paralegal contractor will support OCR attorneys in enforcing civil rights statutes by completing the following tasks:
- Conduct legal research on legislation, regulations, and case law involving federal civil rights requirements. Perform legal research and analysis in support of staff attorneys. Utilize computerized legal reference systems (Lexis Nexis, Lexis Advance, Westlaw, and/or Westlaw Next) and analyze applicability to specific issues. Draft research summaries and check legal citations. Prepare correspondence.
- Collect, organize, and review complex factual material and documentary data for office investigations and compliance reviews.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of office management and complaint tracking systems. Enter case materials into the office case information management system. Maintain and provide frequently referenced office decisions, instructions, and resources electronically to attorneys as needed.
- Locate and interview witnesses and perform other support activities to assist attorneys in investigating and conducting compliance reviews.
- Perform assorted administrative duties, including scanning case documents and maintaining computerized filing systems, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of two years of work experience in a legal or paralegal capacity.
Deliverables and Delivery Schedule
- Respond promptly to inquiries.
- Produce all documents, reports, and requested research within established timelines.

- Office for Civil Rights, 999 North Capitol Street NE, Washington, DC.
- Partial remote work is possible.
