Boeing Commercial Airplanes is excited to offer opportunities for an Inspector Integral Fuel Cells to join our Quality team in Everett and Renton, Washington.

As an Inspector for Integral Fuel Cells, you will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and safety of our aircraft operations. This position requires working in confined spaces within the wing fuel cells, where employees must crawl through an opening of 9.5” x 17.7" to access the fuel cell. Your expertise will be vital in inspecting the cleaning, sealing, and coating processes, as well as conducting thorough leak checks to identify and resolve any issues. Collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, you will implement improvements in build processes and drive initiatives for defect reduction. Certification for visual acuity and color perception may also be required. Your ability to use precision measuring instruments and interpret technical documentation will ensure that all components meet stringent specifications, allowing you to make a significant impact on our operations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Inspect preparatory cleaning, application of sealant, protective coatings, and leak detection coatings of integral fuel cells.

  • Perform and witness leak checks, determining the source of leaks and evaluating the extent of repairs required.

  • Inspect final assemblies, subassemblies, and installations of parts and systems for workmanship, fit, alignment, and conformance with applicable drawings and specifications.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to evaluate and coordinate improvements in build processes and defect reduction initiatives.

  • Initiate and document any nonconforming materials or assemblies according to specifications and procedures.

  • Conduct audits and surveillance of manufacturing and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance.

  • Use precision measuring instruments and shop mathematics to verify that all parts and assemblies meet quality requirements.

  • Review manufacturing plans and other documentation for completeness and compliance, identifying any discrepancies.

  • Perform in-process inspections, including checks for torque, sealant applications, and electrical bonding.

  • Document any discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.

  • Verify that parts and assemblies have been properly cleaned and that sealants, primers, and finishes are applied per specifications.

  • Witness and document functional tests of aircraft components and systems to detect leaks.

  • Perform shakedown inspections on completed assemblies prior to customer acceptance, documenting any discrepancies.

  • Maintain personal and tool certifications, ensuring compliance with operational standards.

  • Assist and train other employees on inspection methods and procedures, providing guidance as needed.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

  • Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs. to 15-35 lbs.

  • Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting. Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.

  • Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.

Basic Qualifications:

POSITION OVERVIEW

The role of Therapist I involves conducting individual counseling and facilitating group sessions, maintaining thorough and timely documentation in the electronic health record of clients/patients, developing treatment plans, and coordinating discharge planning. Additionally, the Therapist I often engages with other agencies, advocates for clients/patients, and offers case management services as needed.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide individual counseling and/or group facilitation to clients/patients with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
  • Maintain concise, timely, and thorough documentation in the client/patient electronic health record as defined by agency standards.
  • Conduct discharge planning based on the patient’s/client’s needs.
  • Demonstrate a β€œwhole person” approach to care, including the patient’s/client’s family/support system when appropriate.
  • Attend all required internal training and optional external training regarding evidence-based practices for Behavioral Health.
  • Complete assigned agency tasks in a timely manner.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations under the supervision of an agency clinical supervisor.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, including treatment team and staff meetings.
  • Develop networks of care for the betterment of the client.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team to foster a network of support and diverse views regarding clinical issues that arise in the performance of direct service functions.
  • Meet regularly or monthly with the clinical supervisor to problem-solve, review productivity, and ensure clients’ needs are met.
  • Proficiency with biopsychosocial assessmentsΒ 
  • Willingness to complete peer reviews and make appropriate correctionsΒ 
  • Provide flexibility and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of techniques, procedures, and systems designed to improve the level of care or quality of services as identified or needed for new and existing programs.
  • Maintain all certification standards required by funding sources, the State of Ohio, and the agency; participate in educational and training opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.Β

  • Ability to interact with the community, interpret information, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Understanding of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, current edition, American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria, accepted practices of documentation, and knowledge of evidence-based practices including Trauma-Informed Care, Housing First, etc.
  • Ability to manage assigned caseload and responsibilities.
  • Proven proficiency in both oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and deal effectively in a positive manner with the public, team members, and elected officials.

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Ohio.
  • CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Performs all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Performs pre and post trip of truck every day and fills out daily inspection sheets
  • Drives safely and efficiently to transport material and achieve production goals

The Sheeter/Cutter Operator efficiently performs set-up and operates a machine that cuts rolls up to 59" of paper stock into sheets of paper of a specific size and quantity. Duties are always performed while standing or walking next to the cutter on the floor or scaffold areas in the cutter area or the paper roll storage area.Β  Walk on and work from scaffolds up to 7-8 ft. high around both sides and the output areas of the press. Frequently use roll pushers to move rolls of paper weighing approximately 1,400-5,600+ lbs.Β  Use of mechanical or electrical hand pallet jack: lift and move pallets/skids with 1,500 lbs. of product. Β At Quad, we value your experience and offer a competitive starting wage, between $17.50 - $19.50 / hour or more for those with sheeting/rolltender experience.


We have openings on the following shifts:


5 am - 5 pm, Friday-Sunday - + $2.00 shift premium for working the weekend shift. Β If hired, you will train on another shift until you are ready to move to the weekend shift.




Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Order confirmation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Set-up and effective operation ofΒ the precision cutter:
  • Follow the pre-production, make-ready, and production-run tasks and instructions
  • Cross-train as assigned.

Examples of Powered Equipment used:Β Guillotine Cutter, hand tools from powered screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc., compressed air hoses, powered and assisted lifting devices, clamp forklift, scissor/man lifts, hand jacks, elevator sorting/staging platform, scanning devices and bar-code readers, and keyboard and touch computers.


Required Qualifications:



  • Previous sheeter (roll tender) experience preferred.
  • Be able to perform work-related functions requiring the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and to read metric measurements.
  • Be able to read, speak, and understand Basic English
  • Must be familiar with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance.Β 
  • Computer proficient
  • Troubleshooting experience.Β 
  • Understanding of the USA dating system
  • Understand Lock Out/Tag Out
  • Be able to perform multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately compare letters, numbers, objects, pictures, and patterns.

  • Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally, stand long hours (12-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects.Β 
  • Have good vision, including peripheral and depth perception, and be able to successfully pass a color test.Β Β 
  • You must be willing to work overtime and on weekends when needed.Β
