Summary:

Key Responsibilities Weld steel subassemblies to AWS B2.1/B2.1M Create, prove out, and document dock leveler manufacturing process with emphasis on welding Active member on the launch team implementing the welding, painting, and assembly processes Accountable for every aspect of their work Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that's being worked on with rulers, measuring tapes or squares Place each product component in its appropriate location as noted in the blueprints for proper alignment by using a hammer, pry bar, jack, wedge, or another tool Mark spots to cut and use tools to manipulate steel, by cutting, hammering, bending, or grinding the workpiece Review blueprints, drawings, and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion Maneuver fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, and shears, to cut, bend, grind and adjust materials Make templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work quality Skills Versatile in performing different manufacturing tasks/duties.

This is a 3rd Shift Position, 11 PM-7:30 AM.
This client produces and assembles small plastic parts for the Fluid Handling Systems.
Primary Responsibilities: Promotes an atmosphere of awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices in support of the HSE/EMS policies daily.
Perform daily job duties outlined by the Quality Policy.
Understands and performs daily job duties in a manner that supports the Plant goals and Quality objectives.
Responsible for following Plant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Assists in monitoring, communicating, and improving O.E.E on processes that are being run.
Verifies lot numbers, lot traceability sheet, and assures that components correspond.
Responsible for filling out lot traceability sheets, in-process papers, and the operator logbook.
Verifies bar code and visual aid.
Verifies quality parts are being produced by performing hourly visual aid checks (5 pcs.
minimum).
Responsible for keeping the work area clean, ensuring that dropped product is scrapped properly.
Performs other duties assigned.
Assists in monitoring, communications, and improving efficiency on processes for which the Operator is responsible.
Work Environment/Work Conditions: Production floor environment.
Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on the manufacturing floor.
Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury.
