A Modern Schedule Built for Today’s Urologists
At Wellstone Health Partners, we are introducing a flexible, sustainable approach to Urology coverage in Central Texas designed for physicians who want meaningful clinical and surgical work without committing to a traditional full-time schedule . This model offers predictable 2-week blocks each month so you can practice at a high level while preserving significant personal time.
We are seeking a BC/BE Urologist to share this schedule, ensuring consistent access for our community and strong continuity of care — all supported by a full-time clinical and operational infrastructure in Harker Heights, TX. Centrally located, Harker Heights is about 1 hour north of Austin, 2 hours from Dallas and San Antonio, and 3 hours from Houston.
Why This Model Works
This is not “part-time.” This is purposeful flexibility with all the advantages of full-time practice during your active weeks, including:
Established patient volume and referral partners (500K service area)
Dedicated OR access with da Vinci Xi robotics
Clinic adjacent to medical center
2.5 days OR/2 clinic days
Experienced APP and support staff
Epic + Ambience AI
Predictable, repeating 2-week blocks for long-term life/work balance
Manageable call: No clinic call, low-volume Level IV ED consults, and exceptional ED/HM teams keep two-week solo call blocks consistently light.
This is a schedule crafted for physicians who value:
Extended, guaranteed time off
Consistency instead of rotating call or unpredictable clinic days
Maintaining their skills in a well-resourced, collegial environment
A sustainable way to practice that aligns with modern priorities
How It Works
Your “on” weeks include full access to OR, clinic, & support.
Your “off” weeks are protected with no clinical responsibilities
Patients remain fully supported by our comprehensive team-based model
This approach ensures uninterrupted service for our region while giving each physician a healthier, more flexible rhythm.
Recruitment Package may include:
Base salary + wRVU production incentive
CME allowance
Paid malpractice coverage
Full suite of Health, Dental, Vision benefits + Retirement plan
Marketing + practice growth assistance
Medical debt assistance + Consultative services by Navigate Student Loans
Sign-on, Commencement, and Relocation allowance
