Supply Chain Manager – Aerospace
Position Type: Direct Hire
Location: North Hollywood, CA
Salary: $160K–$170K base + 17.5% bonus
Travel: ~20% domestic
Schedule: Exempt salaried role | Typical hours 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Key Requirements (Must-Have)
- Aerospace industry experience
- Strong analytics background (KPIs, metrics, working capital)
- Operations, Materials Management & Planning leadership
- 10+ years in supply chain leadership for manufactured goods (castings & machined parts)
Role Overview
The Supply Chain Manager will lead all supply chain functions for the client North Hollywood site, ensuring procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, and SIOP activities align with business and regulatory requirements while driving cost, inventory, and performance improvements.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead site-wide supply chain functions: procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, SIOP
- Develop and execute inventory reduction and working capital strategies
- Own KPI reporting and year-over-year PPV/PCV improvements
- Define and manage commodity and sourcing strategies
- Oversee supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, and vendor relationships
- Reduce supply risk through contingency planning and supplier assessments
- Lead, develop, and manage supply chain teams
- Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of relevant supply chain experience (aerospace highly preferred)
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, inventory management, demand forecasting, and operations planning
