I’m exclusively partnering with a leading packaging manufacturer to hire a Design Engineer to support continued growth within their rigid plastics and thermoformed packaging division.

This is a highly technical, design-focused engineering role centered on the development of rigid plastic packaging solutions for a range of consumer and industrial applications. The business is looking for someone with strong CAD capability and hands-on experience in thermoforming, blister, and clamshell packaging design.

The Position:

• Design and develop rigid plastic packaging solutions from concept through to production
• Work extensively on thermoformed, blister, clamshell, and custom plastic packaging structures
• Create and modify 3D CAD designs (SolidWorks or similar)
• Support prototyping, tooling trials, and production validation
• Work closely with manufacturing, tooling suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Package Operator II - Fresh Mozzarella based in Nampa, ID.

As Packaging Operator II, you will be responsible for the overall operational flow of the machines and equipment to assigned area daily. You will assure product quality and identification are correct and meets Lactalis Standards while following all Food Safety Management system guidelines.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Load and operate machines at a set speed with minimal process interruption.

• Work with all other team members of the line to achieve high volume process flow.
• Perform product changes and prepare machine setup using correct measurements for specific packages.
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned and keep work area clean/organized.
• Take immediate corrective action for any product that does not meet quality or product specifications.
• Contribute to continual process improvement and increased performance.
• Participate in internal/external audits and maintain ISO22000/ISO9001/HACCP compliance.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• OP II will be required to Operate line or provide breaks for all other operators.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Previous employment in a food industry or food manufacturing preferred.
• Previous Experience Operating a machine, in a food manufacturing company preferred.

• Ability to multitask and handle multiple competing priorities at the same time.

Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate must have the following attributes/skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy, personal qualities of tact and dependability, possess good manual dexterity, able to push/pull/lift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 65 pounds occasionally, be able to stand for entire shift, be able to perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching) and must be able to work over 40 hours per week (weekends are required). The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Packaging Information Coordinator to bridge the gap between our product development, manufacturing, and external suppliers. You will be the "glue" that ensures our packaging/product data is accurate and our cross-functional teams are aligned. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys data gathering, maintaining spreadsheet integrity, and communicating across various departments to keep projects on track.

As the primary custodian of our product data ecosystem, you will ensure that every SKU, product number, and packaging link is accurate and accessible. This role requires a blend of "data detective" work and proactive communication to ensure that Product Managers, Plant Operations, and 3rd party suppliers are always working from the most current information.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Maintain and update master spreadsheets (Google Sheets) containing SKUs, product numbers, and links to packaging documentation.
• Documentation Review: Audit and organize technical documentation provided by plant operations and 3rd party suppliers for accuracy.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a central point of contact for Product Managers, Plant Operations Managers, and external vendors to gather missing data.
• Information Sorting: Transform raw data from various sources into a clean, searchable format to support production timelines.
• Meeting Coordination: Schedule and participate in Google Meet sessions and phone calls to troubleshoot data discrepancies or production delays.
