The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families
• Will serve as the on-site administrative person for the facility and oversee staff to promote patient and staff safety
• Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees
• Demonstrate SPHP's Standards of Behavior and Core Values

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid NYS RN license
• Associate’s degree in nursing
• Current CPR and BLS or achieve with onsite training
• 1+ yr of experience as a RN

Preferred Requirements:

• 1+ yr of experience in a leadership role overseeing staff
• 1 + yr of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• MDS experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
• Excellent communication in a fast pace work environment across teams on different shifts
• Strong engagement within a team setting
• Leadership and mentorship skills overseeing RNs, LPNs and C.N.A staff
• Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Track Rate: $62.45

Pay Range: $44.00 - $58.10

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing dialysis (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT) for acute inpatients, in accordance with MD orders, hospital policy, and CMS guidelines. Dialysis Registered Nurse will monitor patients during dialysis, assess any emergent changes in condition and communicate with the patient, primary RN, and MD. RN will supervise dialysis technicians and delegate appropriately. In addition, RN will collaborate with the nursing and medical staff to determine the patient's clinical status and priority for dialysis treatment.
