Job Purpose
Support Application Team members, coordinate & organize bases, supplies & fragrance oils for the Application Lab. Order Supplies for all Labs & maintain inventory for Applications. Perform Physical Testing & Sample Making as needed, and Support Lab Manager & Director

We’re hiring a Lab Service Engineer to support R&D and applications lab activities in a fast-paced, new product development environment. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with a strong electro-mechanical background who thrives in a startup-style lab setting.
What you’ll do
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibration on lab equipment
• Support process development, hardware, and software engineering teams during R&D work and customer demos
• Install and support prototype tools, often with limited or evolving documentation
• Develop procedures and documentation as needed to support new designs and lab activities
• Safely handle hazardous materials using required PPE, which may include APR or SCBA
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer tools that can’t be resolved remotely

· As a member of our team, you will be accountable for essential clinical knowledge that will positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating care.
· You will display your strong and accurate clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills while following company polices including those related to confidentiality (written, verbal, electronic and digital).
· In collaboration with your healthcare team, you will report critical information or change in condition of patients.
· You will provide comfort and prevent suffering through presence and attentiveness that would include pain assessment and reassessment.
· As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy.
· In order to provide a great patient experience, you will collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care for an effective and current plan of care.
Requirements:
- Diploma or associate's degree from a professional nursing program (required)
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)

What you will do in this role:
- You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
- You will assist physicians in operative procedures.
- You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results
- You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders
Requirements:
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- One to three years’ experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician.
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a highly-skilled and compassionate Cath Lab registered nurse you will provide assistance with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. In this role:
You will be responsible for all testing and therapeutics that take place in the cath lab. These procedures include but are not limited to: cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker, tilt-table, angioplasty, stent, dialysis catheter, nephrostomy and ureteral tube, IVC filter, IABP, pericardiocentesis, and stress testing procedures.
- You will facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care.
- You will appropriate SBAR process for hand-off communication.
- You will assist the patient through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room.
- You will manage emergent cases.
- You will maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records and complete all paperwork associated with these procedures.
- You will prepare tests for physician interpretation.
- Current State of Idaho RN license in good standing
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1+ years of Cath Lab experience preferred
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support or obtain within 90 days of date of hire
