Formulate and implement strategic business plans specific to the needs of individual accounts to retain existing business for the Lab and to educate and assist accounts in the utilization of premium lens products
Cultivate and develop strong business relationships with doctors and their staff
Educate customers on industry trends and new lens products in order to inform and assist with business decisions
Maintain current working knowledge of existing and new products/services and other general information to ensure accurate information is provided
Act as liaison between Lab and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met
Collaborate with marketing and product development to address customer's needs and analyze market data
Document sales activity and monitor account growth within defined territory
Develop and deliver presentations to doctors' staff on both a small and large scale
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
Two years or more direct outside sales experience
Broad knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and coatings preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated track record meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility
Must travel more than 50% of the time
Clean DMV record
Candidate must reside within the territory. The territory will include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Puerto Rico.

Schedule:
M-F, first shift hours--40 hours per pay period
Call one night per week and every 4th-6th weekend
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care activities in the Cath Lab & other applicable procedural areas implementing an outcome-based plan of care
- Identifies learning needs and implements a plan for the patient, conducts patient and family teaching and documents teaching done
- Appropriately uses equipment required to perform Cath Lab procedures
- Understands varying treatment needs and approaches for patients across the life span, as appropriate to the department
- Performs independently in the role of scrub tech, circulator, and hemodynamic monitor and obtains data collection with physiologic calculations specific to the procedure performed and documents
- Initiates BLS/ACLS protocols as appropriate in cardiac emergencies
- Provides care utilizing critical thinking skills based on patients' needs and acuity, and is consistent with policies and procedures of the department
- Coordinates and provides care with a team approach
- Demonstrates clinical competency
- Facilitates medication administration, initiates and manages IV therapy
- Assures medication safety by following the “5 Rights of Medication Administration”
- Manages patient’s pain in accordance with policy
- Monitors and manages conscious sedation/sedated patients in accordance with policy
- Responsible for daily count of controlled substances
- Cross trained to work in other procedural areas as needed
- Assists with and implements appropriate interventions during Cardiovascular Procedures under the direction of a licensed professional

90% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday with start times ranging from 7:30AM – 9:00AM. Every other Thursday off. Occasional evening shift may be required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Float to:
/n
/n
- Perform and verify patient testing, proficiency testing and QC. Troubleshoot when necessary as a scientist.
/n
- Demonstrate decision-making skills, ability to work independently, and the ability to take on teaching/training responsibilities as needed.
/n
- Perform phlebotomy, process specimens for testing/transport, provide patient instructions and answer provider questions as needed.

- Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology Required or

- education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include 60 semester hours including either: 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses Required

- Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology Preferred

- Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science Preferred
