Fremont, CA | On-site | 24-month contract

We’re hiring a Lab Service Engineer to support R&D and applications lab activities in a fast-paced, new product development environment. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with a strong electro-mechanical background who thrives in a startup-style lab setting.

What you’ll do

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibration on lab equipment

• Support process development, hardware, and software engineering teams during R&D work and customer demos

• Install and support prototype tools, often with limited or evolving documentation

• Develop procedures and documentation as needed to support new designs and lab activities

• Safely handle hazardous materials using required PPE, which may include APR or SCBA

• Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer tools that can’t be resolved remotely

• Provide occasional field or direct customer support

• Train Field Service Engineers, technicians, or process engineers when needed

What we’re looking for

• Technical or Trade School degree

• 5 years of work experience

• Experience as a Field Support Engineer or Product Support Engineer within the semiconductor equipment industry

• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Hands-on experience with helium leak checking

• Ability to work independently using schematics, P&IDs, signal lists, and procedures

• Comfortable learning and using specialized applications and tools

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Strong decision-making ability and team-first mindset

• Comfortable working in a new product group or startup-like lab environment

Who We're Looking For:

A reliable, detail-oriented optical lab professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is confident using lab equipment, organized, and consistent about following established processes and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain optical manufacturing equipment, including lens cutting, grinding, and polishing machines.
• Assemble and fit lenses into frames according to customer orders.
• Inspect finished lenses for defects and ensure they meet prescribed optical and physical specifications.
• Perform final checks on eyewear for alignment, fit, and finish.
• Ensure lab area and equipment is clean, calibrated, and in good working order.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an optical lab is required.
• Proficient with computer software related to optical lab operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

We are seeking an EP Lab Tech for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? As an Electrophysiology/EP Lab Tech, you will identify steps in established procedures to provide technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, which include supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and use of medical devices.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for all diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures including preparation of supplies and instruments, preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, preparation and manipulation of cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices
• Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician
• Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
• Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned
• Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor / manager
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Other duties as assigned

• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or 3 years of Cath Lab or EP experience
• CVT Tech
• Allied Health Degree
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required within 1 year of hire date or transfer into position
