Salary: 50K to 60K base plus profit share

Type: Full-time, permanent (Monday- Friday 09.00-5:00)

The role

Conference Producers are at the forefront of our company. Intellectually curious, commercially aware & smart, they are the dynamic communicators and persuasive influencers that develop our events! They conduct intensive phone based research calls with senior leaders from a cross section of companies to determine the event's content and theme; select and invite high level speakers; copy write the event agenda and website; project manage the sales and marketing campaigns. All while being the 'face' of the event to both internal and external stakeholders and onsite at the event itself.


The conference producer leads the ‘project’ of each event, working closely with the Community Delegate Account Managers who are responsible for building out the attendee list and the community. In addition they will work with marketing, sales and event management teams to ensure the smooth and profitable execution of each event.   • Producing a targeted number of content rich conferences / events per year
  • Conducting intensive research to ascertain and validate conference content with senior executives
  • Developing in-depth sales, marketing and project briefs summarizing the main findings of your research for the wider project team
  • Inviting, confirming and managing ongoing relations with senior speakers
  • Running events onsite and digitally alongside the operation teams, networking with senior executives and developing future business
  • Working closely with marketing and sales teams to develop and aid in the execution of comprehensive cross-functional strategies
  • Managing and controlling the conference budget
  • Creating original, engaging copy for the event brochure, website and associated promotional pieces


Requirements

  • Project management experience and able to thrive within a fast-paced environment
  • Great organizational, communication, inter-personal and writing skills are essential
  • Excellent phone interviewing and research skills and the ability to meet tough deadlines
  • Proven experience with identifying new business trends, writing compelling copy and communicating with senior business leaders
  • A strong academic background, are team-oriented and commercially focused
