Summary
The Territory Sales Lead (TSL) ensures flawless execution of store level sales and promotion plans with customer retailers in assigned territory. The territory consists of high-volume food chain grocers and mass merchandiser customers. The TSL masters retail execution plans by driving incremental sales, implementing, and maintaining best-in-class promotional and merchandising strategies, and ensuring 100% distribution on authorized Hershey items across all classes of trade. Responsibilities
Consultative Business Partnering
Customer Relationship Development and Management:
- Build and maintain consultative business relationships with customer Key Decision Makers (KDMs) at all levels.
- Partner and collaborate with KDMs to develop and execute action plans to increase sales. Cultivate a network of influential contacts at all levels of customers to achieve sales objectives.
- Leverage strategic relationships with KDMs to influence and negotiate customers' assistance in the merchandising of Hershey products.
Data Analysis:
- Obtain and analyze relevant store, product, and market data and leverage trends and analytics to build the business.
- Utilize and complete pre-call planning methods and other company tools.
- Review and make recommendations to modify routes that maximize business efficiencies for all sales calls within territory.
- Effectively solve problems by analyzing information, utilizing consumer trends and customer insights to guide decision making and influence others to act.
Sales:
- Engage in forward selling via consultative sales techniques using provided data sources, technology, processes and procedures.
- Maximize sales and display opportunities by conducting store walk-throughs and gaining commitment by KDMs on successful outcomes.
- Tailor strategies to influence KDMs to order additional products to increase incremental sales and to obtain best in class quality of merchandising locations.
Merchandising Achieve all merchandising objectives executing customer specific promotional plans to the sales floor using forward selling. Partnership at store level is critical for TSL's to effectively build, maintain and execute product on the sales floor, in addition to merchandising and maintaining permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles
Administrative Responsibilities Complete and submit reports of daily and weekly activities, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions and all administrative functions within assigned territory using company approved methods and technology
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 2-year Associate/Community College degree required OR 3 years of previous sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

The Plan Manager Aggregate is responsible for executing the daily production plan. Works with the plant foreman to ensure that the quality and pace of production meet our standards. Manages the pit mining process to ensure that we are on pace and following the mining plan. Manager for all rock plant employees, directly responsible for their productivity, payroll, and scheduling. Yard manager responsible for stockpile management, inventory control, and communications, as well as the conduct of all contractors at the facility.
Essential Functions of the Position:
• Perform oversight of aggregate processing, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Responsible for daily production reporting and weekly inventory management.
• Direct manager to all quarry personnel responsible for their daily schedule, daily directives, and hiring and onboarding new employees.
• Maintain working relationships with all departments to ensure work objectives can be met.
• Ensure that plants run at peak efficiency and still produce products that meet specifications and high-quality standards.
• Ensure that all equipment is being operated safely and efficiently.
• Promote a strong safety culture and help provide oversight of safe work practices, provide a safe work environment, and safety training. Actively engage with the employees to reinforce safe behaviors.
• Assure high environmental standards and compliance with applicable permits and regulations.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. • Person responsible for leading outside inspection agencies through the facilities, then following up on all NOV’s or corrective actions.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Demonstrable experience in the management of crushing, screening, washing, and stockpiling to produce high-quality construction aggregates.
• Good analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Thorough understanding of QC reporting, gradations, and how to adjust plant configuration to meet specifications.
• Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local mining operations laws, rules, and regulations, including MSHA, OSHA, Cal OSHA, and SMARA.
Requirements:
• Must have a valid Class C driver’s license.
• Driver record cannot contain any reckless driving offences, DUIs, leaving the scene of an accident, etc.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote a zero-incident culture by leading daily safety meetings and enforcing MSHA and company policies.
- Direct crushing, screening, heavy-media, thickener, and load-out operations to hit tonnage, quality, and recovery goals.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with mechanical and electrical teams to maximize uptime on conveyors, pumps, PLC-controlled systems, and mobile equipment.
- Analyze lab results, adjust plant settings, and recommend process changes that increase yield and cut refuse.
- Develop and manage shift schedules for roughly 20 hourly employees, coaching two foremen plus electricians and operators.
- Track production, cost, and safety KPIs in Excel or ERP, prepare daily and monthly reports, and propose continuous-improvement projects.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s in industrial or mineral processing preferred).
- At least 10 years of mineral-processing experience, ideally in coal, with 5+ years leading a preparation or similar plant.
- Maintenance and electrical background with proven expertise in PLC controls, conveyor systems, pumps, screens, crushers, and heavy-media cyclone circuits.
- Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, and familiarity with SAP or comparable procurement/maintenance software.
- Demonstrated success improving product quality, recovery rates, and cost per ton through data-driven decisions.
- Leadership and managerial ability to motivate, train, and retain plant personnel; heavy-equipment operating experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania mining regulations; current MSHA certifications valued.
