PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Special Activities and Intelligence (SAI) Program in our Operational Warfighting (OPS) Division at CNA is hiring for a part-time Research Scientist. Staff at this level will typically be leading smaller and/or less complex projects, playing a critical role as a team member on projects with specific technical/scientific expertise. For this role we are looking for people that have extensive experience in AI and ML.
The SAI program conducts analyses that help decision-makers integrate information, intelligence, and exquisite effects into fleet operations. CNA has played an active role in the reconstruction of real-world incidents, assessment of the employment of operational teams, and the extraction of operational value from intelligence feeds. We also support efforts to integrate artificial intelligence and autonomous capabilities, crafting policies and procedures to guide their development and bridging the technology gap between defense and industry.

7. Demonstrates strong and effective communications skills, to include ability to summarize and synthesize larger pieces of work into effective executive summaries/executive briefings. Can effectively present work to more senior and larger audiences. Effectively communicates with & engages colleagues at all levels of the organization.
8. Works under limited direction and general supervision from division management. Can lead projects of low to medium size and/or complexity, as well as significant tasks on large or more complex projects. Effectively manages all aspects of assigned projects, to include delivery of high-quality analytic products on-time, and on-budget.
9. Plays a supporting role in the mentoring and training of new staff individually or as a member of a project team. Regularly demonstrates initiative in pursuing improvements in the quality of our projects and analytic products. Participates in corporate initiatives when asked to do so, and makes contributions to initiatives focused on making CNA a better place to work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Minimum Master's degree in a relevant field (STEM), PhD preferred.
2. Experience: Typical minimum requirements 5+ years of experience in research and analysis. Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and applications preferred. Experience with Navy and AI-related organizations and processes preferred.
3. Skills:

Position Purpose:
The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Mount Carmel East has 16 beds. The Registered Nurse (RN) would expect to see cases involving sepsis, covid, pneumonia, diabetes, cardiac arrest, psychological disorders, drug overdoses, surgical, stroke, and more. Position Purpose:
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the RN Administrative Supervisor, in collaboration with the management team, serves as a support person in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating optimal patient care activities on the nursing units; and functions as a resource person to other hospital departments on given tour of duty within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.
What you will do:
- In collaboration with the management team provides coaching, direction and supervision of all staff members in house during assigned shift. Facilitates appropriate human, material and other resources to ensure effective patient care. Expedites patient flow to minimize diversion of patient access.
- Partners with appropriate persons to educate employees in organizational policy, changes, and new technologies. Recommends, supports, and participates in education opportunities. Demonstrates appropriate clinical competencies.
- Ensures financial performance and profitability of designated areas through monitoring and evaluating resource utilization and equipment distribution during assigned shift. Collaborates with Unit Directors and Patient Care Staff in maintaining the correct staffing throughout the hospital.
- In collaboration with the management team, focuses on optimal patient outcomes, regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Follows and/or establishes communication channels to ensure appropriate effective internal and external communication between and among stakeholders.
- Monitors and ensures optimal level of patient, staff and physician satisfaction and patient expectation and service levels.
- Meets population specific and all other competencies according to department requirements.
- Promotes a Culture of Safety by adhering to policy, procedures and plans that are in place to prevent workplace injury, violence or adverse outcome to associates and patients.
- Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care throughout their experience at Mount Carmel following the principles of our interdisciplinary care delivery system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from school of nursing. Baccalaureate degree strongly desired.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in State of Ohio.
- Minimum of four to five years recent clinical experience in hospital setting with Care Manager/Charge Nurse or other relevant hospital management experience required.
- Demonstrates results oriented leadership and management ability.
- Telemetry qualified or has attended the basic ECG course.

Position Purpose:
Do you have a passion for Cardiology? Our 2 General is a 24-bed unit that specializes in cardiac and nephrology care. Cardiac patients are post Cath or EP, CHF, chest pain, and drips. Care is also provided on this unit for our acute and chronic renal failure patients.
What you will Do:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current IA RN license
BSN preferred
No previous experience required

As an Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) RN at MercyOne, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice. Utilizing critical thinking, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outcome-focused care for patients undergoing surgery or procedures in an outpatient setting.
