As a Home Health RN, you’ll be a trusted guide in a patient’s recovery journey—offering support, clinical expertise, and compassionate care in the comfort of their home. Working under the direction of the Director of Professional Services, you'll help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life while avoiding unnecessary hospital visits.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to home health patients.
• Perform comprehensive initial assessments and develop individualized care plans in coordination with physicians.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Deliver education and support to patients and families to empower them in managing care at home.
• Ensure all care provided aligns with agency policies, clinical guidelines, and physician orders.
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities to ensure continuity of care.

What You Bring:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (Home Health experience strongly preferred).
• A strong sense of independence and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Summary:

Accurately evaluates specimen orders and enter clinical data/information into a variety of computer systems (i.E. order entry, patient demographics and/or results). Identifies any missing or invalid data entry information and take the appropriate action to correct. Operates automated and semi-automated equipment according to standard operating procedures.
Effectively communicate supply deficiencies to appropriate personnel, including deficiencies related to specimens, paperwork, database information, and equipment.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Associate of Science Degree preferred
• Basic knowledge in the areas of microbiology, immunology or molecular biology and biochemistry as related to infectious diseases required

Experience

• 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting or length of time to complete certification program preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or Phlebotomist Certification - PBT (ASCP), RPT (AMT), CPT (NPA) or equivalent required
• Louisiana requires State Licensure

Seeking a driven and passionate cook who is independent and a quick learner. The Chef Assistant must have cooking experience; a culinary school degree is preferred but not necessary. We will train the right candidate who is already a skilled home or professional cook. The Saucy Plate is an independent, woman-owned Personal Chef business servicing Metrowest Boston. Based in Wayland, MA, we cook in our clients' homes in towns including Weston, Wayland, Wellesley, Sudbury, Concord, Lincoln, Lexington, Belmont, Winchester, Newton, Natick, Waltham and beyond. You must own a reliable vehicle and be able to travel daily to any of these locations around Boston. You must be able to lift 40lbs and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment on your feet.

Duties may include: grocery shopping, prep station, cooking, cleaning, packaging food and labeling for assembly and reheat, running errands, menu planning.

We are currently hiring on a part-time basis with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will grow with The Saucy Plate and take on their own clients in the future. Applicants must be available weekdays from 8am - 4pm, although you will often get off work earlier. This is a contract position and you will be paid a flat daily rate for each day you work. To begin with, the Chef Assistant will be working on Mondays and Tuesdays only, with potential for growth.
