Responsible for assisting the management and chef teams in a variety of projects including but not limited to: data entry, filing, taking reservations, menu creation, basic cleaning duties and assisting hosts at the front door. Work alongside both front and back of the house staff and management teams to provide a great dining experience to restaurant guests, while maintaining a professional attitude and work environment.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude while showing initiative to successfully assist the management team
- Onboard all new hires in company systems successfully and with accuracy
- Completes necessary administrative HR related tasks/paperwork of non-management employees and provides the required documentation to corporate.
- Accurate creation of private dining menus using notes from the sales manager placed in the system; deliver to the appropriate private room.
- Prints the BEOs for the chefs and managers
- Enter invoices/inventory into the accounting system in communication and continuous training from the management team. Completes all vendor issue forms and follows up on credit memos and the issues to resolve folder
- Scan, copy, and file all necessary invoices as directed.
- General paperwork execution including daily sales and labor items, variance reports, new hire paperwork with oversight from management, grading of training quizzes and testing, etc.

Qualifications include:
- Previous Perry's restaurant experience or other fine dining experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required; HRIS and onboarding experience a strong plus
- Customer service oriented
- Attentive and detail-oriented
- Servsafe or similar food handler's certificate may be required depending upon store location.
- TABC or similar certification

Job Duty 1 -

Perform repairs and maintenance duties on a wide variety of food service and refrigeration equipment such as walk-in freezers, industrial-sized steam cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, dishwashers, fryers, stoves, ovens, and grills.

Highly regarded private beach club in the Hamptons is seeking a talented Seasonal Chef de Cuisine to lead day-to-day culinary operations at Dune Deck Beach Club, one of Discovery Land Company’s premier East Coast properties. Working closely with the Executive Chef, Culinary Director, and Food and Beverage leadership team, the Chef de Cuisine will play an integral role in managing kitchen operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring seamless execution of all culinary programming across club dining outlets and special events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Partner with culinary and food and beverage leadership to establish standardized recipes, signature dishes, and consistent portion control practices
- Plan and organize special events and catered functions, developing prep lists and menus to support efficient execution by kitchen staff
- Manage food procurement, storage, and inventory systems while maintaining organized kitchen operations and minimizing waste
- Implement and monitor food tracking systems and cost-control measures to support operational efficiency
- Recruit, train, and mentor culinary team members responsible for food production across club outlets
- Develop and manage kitchen schedules based on projected business levels while maintaining appropriate staffing and labor efficiency
- Foster a collaborative kitchen culture and motivate a cross-trained team capable of maintaining kitchen cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and operational readiness
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and implement corrective action or coaching as needed
- Attend weekly management meetings to coordinate operations and align departmental initiatives
- Assist with the development and management of departmental budgets, including labor, food cost, and operational expenses
- Submit regular operational reports including weekly and monthly performance updates for leadership review
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety protocols including HACCP standards and local health regulations

Requirements:
