Physical Requirements:

Essential Functions*
- Responsible for achieving company objectives and goals.
- Foster and promote the Flagship brand and values within the client’s culinary culture.

- Oversees all phases of food procurement, production and service. Including: inventory, ordering, storage/rotation, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, service and production time standards.
- Conducts daily line checks, food reviews and recipes of the day.
- Ensures that clear feedback is provided to the entire kitchen team.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the kitchen by maintaining to specified standards, passing Health Department audits with a minimum of 90% or equivalent, and training staff on proper sanitation guidelines.
- Prepares food items consistently by adhering to standards with portion sizes, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- Able to interview new team members considering our values and culture. Other duties as assigned.

- Follows safety and sanitation procedures with all guidelines from OSHA and Department of Health.

Education and Work Experience

Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager supports restaurant operational objections and provides leadership support to the General Manager. The manager is responsible to ensuring seamless operations and great experiences, from our team to our food, to our guests. Day-to-day responsibilities including proper food handling, responsible alcohol service standards and ensuring cleanliness, as well as interacting with guests, problem-solving, and coaching Team Members. This position will oversee the bar area.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience in a management position at a full-service upscale restaurant.
- Experience as a bar manager in a high volume, upscale restaurant.
- Strong communication skills. Written and verbal (1:1 and in a group setting).
- Able to understand, speak and follow written and verbal instruction in English
- Ability to demonstrate discretion and leadership in complex employee relations matters.
- The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure.

What will you do?
- Check in with management upon arrival for daily duties and station assignments.
- Attend pre-shift briefing, taking note of relevant information including service, food and beverage, and guest notes.
- May assist with running food/beverages to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room including all equipment, utensils, tables, chairs, service stations, floors, and windows.
- Remove dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables after guests depart. Return dirty dishes, silverware, glassware and linen to dish washing area, sorting appropriately and placing them in the assigned area for proper disposition.
- Reset tables once guests leave according to floor plan or instructions from management.
- Remove and empty trash as needed.
- Seasonal game day position.
- Assist bartenders with bar set up, maintenance & service.

More about you
- Experience or training as a Runner, Bar Back or Busser with a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed.

- Must be at least 18 years old.
