Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens assignment in Oak Hill, West Virginia supporting a small community hospital anesthesia program during June and July coverage needs.

This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, manageable surgical volume, and very light call responsibilities in a supportive rural hospital setting.

Providers looking for bread-and-butter anesthesia cases without high-acuity trauma or obstetrics will find this assignment to be an excellent fit.

This is a small, efficient surgical department with a steady flow of routine procedures.

Clinical Case Mix

CRNAs support a straightforward surgical program including:

  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Endoscopy
  • Minor outpatient procedures
  • This assignment features bread-and-butter anesthesia only.
  • No OB
  • No trauma cases

Call Structure

CRNAs take first call coverage, though call volume is very light given the size and pace of the facility.

Candidate Requirements

  • NBCRNA Certified
  • Active West Virginia License (or ability to obtain)
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Comfort practicing independently in a low-volume community hospital environment

Job Summary

Responsible for baking pastries and bread in an institutional dining operation as well as catering operations.

This position will interact on a regular basis primarily with culinary staff.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Prepares a wide variety of bakery items from scratch including pastries, breads, and plated desserts.

Job Duty 2 -
Decorates pastries and frosts cakes.

Job Duty 3 -
Scales recipes properly.

Job Duty 4 -
Ensures food quality, including tasting food for quality control.

Job Duty 5 -
Perform other related duties as assigned.



Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
One or more year of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience



Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Having a culinary certification in baking from the culinary arts program, and ServSafe Certification preferred.

Preferred Experience
Two or more years of working in the related field

ABILITIES
Must have open availability to include nights and weekends. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and take direction required.

SKILLS
This job requires skilled training and practical experience in baking pastries, cakes and/or bread in a commercial kitchen environment. Skill in preparing bakery items from scratch, decorating and frosting cakes, and recipe scaling. Good customer service skills are required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan all Child Nutrition menus utilizing a menu planning software in accordance with USDA guidelines and Aramark menu strategy.
    • Maintains required documentation for USDA, state, local, client guidelines related to meal services (i.e. Nutrient Analysis of menu, CN/PFS labels, USDA Workbooks, etc.)
    • Coordinating use of USDA Foods/Commodities within menus. Supporting with annual USDA Foods orders.
  • Supports Food Management Process, oversees purchasing compliance & accuracy to menu, as needed supporting reviewing food orders.
    • Manages vendor/supplier relationships to ensure accurate stocking, availability, and delivery of food items.

  • Assists with new employee training in areas such as adhering to food safety standards, menu & recipe compliance, and portioning.

  • Educates clients and consumers, regarding healthy food choices through school training and community outreach.

Summary of the Position:

Providing exceptional service and understanding of Pelican menu items, proper procedure when cooking and plating dishes, working efficiently, respectfully and according to the Pelican standard to prepare food and ensure superior meals to Pelican guests. Willingness to adapt to menu changes and processes and to understand the innerworkings of the Pelican kitchen and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours. Must be able to lift, handle, and carry food, supply, small wares, equipment, and paper goods at a minimum of 50 pounds safely and properly.
