JOB PURPOSE

This role will manage transversal PPD development projects including strategic catalog maintenance updates, plant transfers, and new product launches. The position is designed to provide short-term coverage for maternity leave (7 months) with potential opportunity to manage a full product launch from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a seasoned developer with strong leadership skills, strategic agility, and preferably prior client experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage project timelines, identifying key tasks and milestones to ensure on-time launches in compliance with client's Quality systems
• Present launch and transversal project reviews; escalate risks to operational and divisional leadership
• Guide Marketing in new innovation briefs to ensure design aligns with Agility, Profitability, and client For the Future (L4TF) initiatives
• Engage Operations and cross-functional stakeholders for project ownership
• Lead project review meetings and resolve roadblocks impacting progress
• Analyze launch viability in terms of cost, timeline, and sustainability
• Drive risk assessment with Operations and R&I partners; track mitigation plans and secure backup options
• Partner with Marketing, Operations, and R&I on harmonization, profitability, and sustainability initiatives
• Manage plant transfers and coordinate feasibility costs, COG analysis, and value analysis support
• Research and develop packaging components; coordinate with R&D
• Provide development support to team members, including guidance on feasibility costing and aesthetic choices
• Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Operations, or related technical discipline required
• Minimum 7 years of experience in package/product development and project management (cosmetics, consumer goods, or related field preferred)
• Technical packaging experience a plus
• Experience developing products for global markets preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams to move projects forward
• Collaborative, team-oriented, and able to build strong cross-functional relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft 365
• Must be onsite as this is an essential function of the position

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Prior client experience strongly preferred (contractor or ex-employee, subject to HR approval)
• Experience managing product launches end-to-end
• Familiarity with systems and processes (Wildware, QCP, etc.)

Overview:

The Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging plant material and infused products. In this role, the packaging associate will maintain accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labelling, and inventory is paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

We are seeking an energetic, highly self-motivated, and experienced Service Technician/Engineer for a key OEM packaging equipment client of ours in New England. You can be located in either Conn., Rhode Island, or Massachusetts. This is for one of the largest, privately-owned packaging OEM and distributors in the country. They are continuing to expand product line and production capabilities for clients throughout the region. This position will be uniquely focused to help expand a rapidly growing packaging business and stretch wrap equipment, specifically.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all installations for the company’s proprietary industrial stretch wrap packaging equipment. In most cases the installations are straightforward and intuitive, but occasionally require metal fabrication - cutting and drilling.
• Assist with system demonstrations at our demonstration facility and/or at customer sites.
• Interface with Sales and other Technical Support Team Members to strategize and execute successful sales, demonstration, installation, and after sales support.
• Fabricate customized apparatus’ components for unique system installations.
• Work with designated stretch wrap system manufacturer to design semi and/or fully automated pallet wrapping lines that can include conveyors and other essential and adjunct processing line components.

Required Background:

• 5+ years of work experience in a hands-on technical/maintenance role.
• Hands-on experience with equipment demos, installation, and service. Some knowledge of stretch wrap packaging equipment is extremely valuable
• Good metal working and fabrication skills – cutting, drilling, and fabricating.
• Strong experience in equipment installation and after sales service.
• Demonstrated experience working with VFDs in a manufacturing setting.
• Good understanding and experience with basic electronics, especially PLCs, and hydraulics.
• Experience with basic equipment programming.

Position Summary: The Packaging Department Manager will effectively perform all the required duties in an accurate, thorough, and safe manner as outlined per the Carl Buddig and Company job description.

Employees are responsible for producing a safe and quality food product per USDA guidelines and are required to report all food safety related problems to their supervisor, manager, or to the quality assurance department in order to initiate immediate action.

The Package Closing Analyst is responsible for end-to-end review of executed closing package ensuring accurate and timely completion of Final Closing Package

· Responsible for reviewing closed loan packages for accuracy and verifying information in the Client’s processing system.
