Required Qualifications:

  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible; ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license
  • Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care
  • Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals
  • Possession of or acquisition of sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in their practice

Position Details:

  • Full-time OB/GYN Openings in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington
  • Patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health
  • Professionalism, as manifested through a commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient population
  • Systems-based practice, as manifested by actions that demonstrate an awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care and the ability to effectively call on system resources to provide care that is of optimal value
  • Maintain regular office hours during the week, and take primary and back-up calls to support the practice (including weekends and holidays)
  • Attend scheduled departmental and other mandatory meetings and participate on assigned committees
  • Assist with departmental recruitment efforts
  • Demonstrate community involvement to promote department, Southwest Medical and Optum



Required Qualifications:

  • BE/BC in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Unrestricted NV Physician License, or ability to obtain prior to start of employment
  • Unrestricted OR Physician License, or ability to obtain prior to start of employment
  • Unrestricted WA Physician License, or ability to obtain prior to start of employment
  • Board certified/Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Nevada, Oregon and Washington Residents Only: The salary range for these residents is $318,275 to $472,626. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
