Position purpose
The Welder position responsibilities include fitting and joining and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Working hours are general 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., but may be adjusted as needed to meet production needs
  • Perform welding duties using a TIG welder.
  • Use welding equipment to weld steel components as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
  • Work with others to assist in the welding of multi-component parts.
  • Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the jobs needs.
  • Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
  • Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.
  • Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
  • Communicates with management, for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventive maintenance functions on equipment. Suggest and implement improvements.

The primary responsibilities of a Brake Press Operator are to bend sheet metal in accordance with design specifications and to ensure each piece produced is free of defects. This Project Manager will lead projects to increase repair capability and capacity to meet growing business needs. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.


This is a long-term 18 month contract position.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall project plan, timeline, op rhythm, execution & reporting to plan
  • Hands on Execution of Capex plan including: Consult with Capex Ldr and RDC on equipment definition/specs, Validate site capability/readiness (utilities, permits, etc), Sourcegate process alignment (sourcing + RDC/GSC team), Capex budget, schedule, reporting, Site preparation/machine moves, Contractor management as needed, Safety compliance, Installation and runoff.
  • Qualification planning & execution
  • Lead other SQDC projects as needed.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
  • Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
  • Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing & 2 Years Project Management)
