The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, seeks applications for a research-focused Postdoctoral Fellow in Information Technology Management (ITM). The initial appointment is for one year and may be renewed for up to two years, depending on satisfactory performance. The postdoc can begin as soon as January 2026 or as late as August 2026 we are happy to accommodate the timeline that works best for the selected candidate.

The role involves close collaboration with the ITM area faculty on mutually selected research projects. Two preferred areas of focus for our group are:

Studying the application of LLMs in online multisided platforms, such as the design and optimization of LLM-powered advertising mechanisms, and strategic interaction between platform participants. We are particularly interested in how LLMs influence user engagement, attention allocation, and economic outcomes on digital platforms, including auction-based advertising markets and dynamic information environments.

Developing economic frameworks for data valuation and privacy in business applications, including topics such as federated learning, copyright-preserving generative models, data marketplace pricing, and incentive-compatible privacy mechanisms. This line of research aims to connect information economics, machine learning algorithms, and market design, to address practical concerns in decentralized data governance, trustworthy machine learning, and platform strategy.

Responsibilities for this position include :

• Work on high-impact research projects, from conceptualization, data collection, and data analysis to manuscript preparation and publication.
• Teach one 3-credit course each year.
• Perform related services based on the needs of the ITM area

• A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in information systems, economics, management science, computer science, statistics, operations, or other related quantitative and/or social science domains
• The degree must completed by the position start date. For example, ABD (All but dissertation) candidates must have successfully defended their dissertation no later than July 1, 2026 for an August 1, 2026 start date.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.

• Knowledge in machine learning, generative models and LLM.
• Knowledge in data privacy technologies, including but not limited to federated learning, differential privacy, copyright preserving technologies in generative models.
• Knowledge in microeconomic theory, including but not limited to mechanism design, auction theory, game theory
• Prior teaching experience

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. About the Scool of Computing Instruction at the Georgia Institute of Technology

With more students graduating with a Computer Science degree than any other major at Georgia Tech and the Institute's requirement that every student complete at least one programming course, quality instruction on the foundations of computing has never been more important. The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) was created to serve these critical needs within Georgia Tech and beyond. Our award-winning teaching-focused faculty have three core missions:

Platform for Creativity and Innovation. SCI's creative faculty boldly experiment with new ideas and approaches to pedagogy, while continually re-examining proven methods to ensure their approach is effective and practical across a different set of courses and students. Ultimately, we consider SCI a platform for meaningful experimentation and invite collaborations both within and beyond Georgia Tech to further push the envelope in computing education.

Scalability of Computing Instruction. SCI's faculty design and serve as primary instructors for the College's array of introductory computer science courses, direct the junior design/capstone program for our undergraduate computing majors, and teach a selection of upper-division and graduate level courses that reflect our faculty's varied interests. At the undergraduate level, SCI faculty teach a third of the College's 1000-4000 level course offerings or half of the nearly 9000 undergraduate computing course seats each semester. The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) at Georgia Institute of Technology within the College of Computing was recently founded to recognize the significant contributions of CS teaching-track faculty. We invite applications for multiple full-time and long-term faculty positions. The official appointment of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will be made depending on past teaching experience. Both positions are offered with renewable contracts with an expectation to start in Jan 2025 on Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta campus. Summer teaching for additional compensation is typically available. In addition, SCI faculty are typically allowed to teach at one of Georgia Tech's multiple study-abroad campuses (Berlin, Barcelona, Metz, etc.) during the summer.

The role will involve research in 6G and wireless systems but also include lab management, business development, project management, cross- institute collaborations and demonstrations just to name a few.

Some responsibilities include:

. Research Leadership in 6G, Wireless Systems, and Emerging Technologies

• Lead and execute advanced research programs spanning 5G Advanced, 6G architectures, ISAC, semantic communications, agentic networking, RF sensing, and wireless intelligence.
• Design and evaluate novel algorithms, PHY/MAC prototypes, and end-to-end wireless stacks using SDRs, GPU-accelerated systems, and cloud-integrated infrastructure.

Perform a variety of duties related to the protection of life and property, enforcement of criminal and traffic laws, prevention of crime, preservation of the public peace, apprehension of criminals, and calls for service. Perform basic police services in accordance with the mission, goals and objectives of the Georgia Tech Police and in compliance with governing federal and state laws. Job Duty 1 -
Engage in law enforcement patrol functions by foot, bike or vehicle including rotating shifts and physically checking doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are secure. Conduct visual and audio surveillance.

Job Duty 2 -
Operate a law enforcement vehicle during both day and night; in emergency situations involving speeds in excess of posted limits, in congested traffic and in unsafe road conditions caused by factors such as fog, smoke, rain, ice and snow.

Job Duty 3 -
Effect an arrest, forcibly if necessary, using handcuffs and other restraints; subdue resisting suspects using maneuvers and weapons and resort to the use of hands and feet and other approved weapons in self-defense.

Exercise independent judgment in determining when there is reasonable suspicion to detain, when probable cause exists to search and arrest and when force may be used and to what degree.
