This technology engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, supportability, and continuous improvement of key infrastructure monitoring and management platforms, with primary ownership focus on tools such as SolarWinds, Azure Sentinel. This role requires a developer mindset. This person will also be providing operations systems administration support for hands on Linux and Windows systems. This role partners closely with internal teams across operations, monitoring, and security to strengthen platform health, improve signal quality, and enable effective incident response workflows. Responsibilities

Platform Ownership

Network & Monitoring Tools (must have)

Familiar with tools such as SolarWinds (including NetPath). As a platform owner, ensure platform stability, upgrades, patching, and day to day support.

Has knowledge about network centric monitoring capabilities including SNMP polling, traps, and device visibility etc. Ensure new sites and devices are properly onboarded

Partner with platform and cloud teams to ensure migrated workloads meet monitoring standards. Systems Administration (must have)

Provide sysadmin support for Linux and Windows servers, including:

What Will I Do in This Position?

The Senior Software Engineer will work within our existing product development team to deliver rapid improvements to new and existing software systems. The engineer will be an integral part of BaseCamp’s software team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how knowledge and knowledge bases empower designers while at the same time enabling AI to provide quality design suggestions. They will need the ability to write concisely, and the capability to work across a vast ecosystem of product specificities. They will need to be comfortable working with agents across an agentic platform, working with tools like GitHub, VS Code, Claude Code and others for authoring needs. They will need to be a systems thinker, always mapping what they are delivering to the big picture. Most of all, the ideal candidate must care about people using technology inside and outside, making their experiences better.

Responsibilities:

• Write and product design documentation for the Design System
• Collaborate with a vast team of designers, product managers, and engineers across various teams to facilitate effective robust knowledge bases
• Leverage design knowledge for design component libraries to find gaps as well as redundancies
• Provide clear and concise instructions for designers and AI to drive coherent design across a broad spectrum of product areas

Requirements:

Work Location: North Chicago, IL 60064

Assignment Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule: First shift (day shift) Flexible working hours Typical core hours around 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Position Summary:

* Work Nature- High-volume, fast-paced, very active workload

* Support document management activities for non-clinical / preclinical safety documents

* Perform formatting, bookmarking, linking, and document organization

* Ensure documents are accurate, well-formatted, and ready for submission

Key Responsibilities:

* Format documents using Microsoft Word

* Perform bookmarking and linking using Adobe tools

* Use internal tools/overlays (training will be provided)

* Manage and organize documents in the electronic submission system (document repository)

* Support preparation of documents for regulatory submissions

* Work on documents across the entire lifecycle:

• Study initiation documents
  
• Internal communications

• Regulatory submission documents (IND, BLA, etc.)
