Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Support:

  • Be the right hand to the CEO, providing high-level administrative support and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Anticipate the needs of the CEO and proactively manage his schedule, priorities, and commitments.
  • Coordinate and prepare for meetings, including agenda setting, minute taking, and follow-up on action items.

2. Project Management:

  • Lead and manage special projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
  • Assist in the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure seamless communication across the executive team.

3. Executive & Operational Support

  • Assist the CEO in day-to-day oversight of plant operations.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation and checklists are printed and filled out by operations team on a daily basis
  • Coordinate cross-departmental communications to ensure alignment with operational goals.

3. Communication and Liaison:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Manage and prioritize the CEO’s email, correspondence, and phone calls with discretion and professionalism.
  • Draft, review, and edit reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Translate CEO’s instructions, safety guidelines, and operational procedures into employees’ preferred languages (verbal and written).
  • Act as an interpreter on-the-floor during team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews with non-English speaking staff.

4. Travel and Event Coordination:

  • Plan and coordinate the CEO’s travel arrangements, ensuring efficient and smooth travel experiences.
  • Organize and manage company events, executive retreats, and board meetings.
  • Ensure all logistical aspects of travel and events are meticulously handled.

5. Confidentiality and Professionalism:

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions and communications.

Position Title: Application Scientist – Functional Food & Beverage

Position Overview:

Nulixir is seeking a high-energy, highly technical Application Scientist to be the brain between our analytical scientists, our nanotechnology team, and our clients. In this role, you will be where our Nusomes™ technology comes to life: designing and optimizing applications, building demo formulations, translating complex data into clear value propositions, and guiding customers on how to incorporate our technology into their products.

You will work directly with clients’ R&D and Innovation teams, as well as Nulixir’s internal scientists and commercialization team, to turn ideas into scalable, high-performance beverages and functional products. Position Location:

This position will be based at our HQ facilities located in the Austin, TX Metropolitan Area, with occasional travel to customer sites, conferences, and trials as needed.

In this critically important role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Translating Technology into Applications
  • Become a deep expert in Nulixir’s Nusomes™ platform, analytical methods, and functional ingredient portfolio (e.g., CoQ10, Vitamin D, nootropics, botanicals).
  • Translate complex nanotechnology and analytical data into clear, application-focused stories that customers can understand and act on.
  • Work with clients to map their product goals (taste, onset, stability, claims) to specific Nulixir solutions and application strategies.

  • Design and deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and product demos to help clients understand how to best incorporate Nusomes™ into their pipelines.

  • Interpret analytical, stability, and performance data and build client-ready narratives around the value created (e.g., improved AUC/Cmax, better stability, cleaner flavor profile).
  • Work with analytical scientists to define the right testing plans (e.g., stability, release profile, PK surrogates) for key customer projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, data summaries, and slide decks that connect lab results to commercial impact (claims, differentiation, cost, and speed-to-market).
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management
  • Act as the connector between internal teams (Analytical, Nanotech, Commercial, Ops) and external clients for your projects.
  • Help prioritize experiments, timelines, and deliverables to ensure customer projects move quickly and efficiently.
  • Track project status, risks, and next steps; communicate clearly with stakeholders on both sides.
  • Support the commercialization team in building proposals, technical appendices, and customer-facing materials.
  1. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify new application opportunities and concepts where Nulixir’s technology can unlock step-change improvements for customers.
  • Bring back insights from the field—customer challenges, trends, processing constraints—to inform Nulixir’s product and platform roadmap.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge building (application guides, playbooks, best-practice formulations) as the company scales.

Relevant Job Experiences, Skills, and Key Requirements for this Role:

  • Master’s or PhD in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field strongly preferred; exceptional BS candidates with strong application experience will be considered.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in applications, formulation, or technical support roles in food & beverage, nutraceuticals, pharma, or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience with formulation of complex systems (e.g., emulsions, dispersions, nano/micro-encapsulation, functional beverages) strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of analytical methods used in characterization of active ingredients and formulations (e.g., HPLC, LC/MS, particle size, stability, release).

Position Title: Operations Assistant (Scheduling & Production Coordination)

Position Overview:

Nulixir is looking for an exceptional Operations Assistant who will be the brain behind our day-to-day operations—owning employee schedules and production schedules to keep our facility running with precision.

In this role, you’ll be the “air traffic controller” of our operations: matching people to production lines, aligning shifts to demand, and ensuring that every run is properly staffed, sequenced, and communicated. You will work closely with Operations Leadership, Production, and HR to turn our aggressive growth plans into a smooth, predictable daily reality on the floor.

In this critically important role, you will be responsible for:

  • Own and maintain the master schedule for hourly operations employees (bottling, blending, warehousing, etc.).
  • Build, publish, and update weekly and monthly shift schedules to ensure proper coverage across all production lines and shifts.
  • Proactively identify coverage gaps (PTO, call-outs, new production needs) and work with supervisors to backfill and rebalance staffing.

  • Support daily stand-up meetings by preparing schedule views, line-up charts, and highlighting key risks or constraints.
  • Quickly communicate schedule changes (rush orders, downtime, absenteeism) to all relevant stakeholders and update systems accordingly.
  • Partner with HR and Operations to coordinate onboarding, cross-training, and re-assignments as production needs evolve.
  1. Systems, Data, and Reporting
  • Use Excel/Google Sheets and internal tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing and production calendars.
  • Track key operational metrics related to scheduling (e.g., planned vs. actual hours, schedule adherence, overtime usage).
  • Provide regular reports and insights to Operations Leadership on staffing utilization, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Help standardize and continuously improve scheduling templates, tools, and processes as the company scales.
  1. Continuous Improvement & Special Projects
  • Identify recurring scheduling and coordination pain points and propose practical solutions.
  • Support rollout of new lines, shifts, and processes by building schedules and operational playbooks around them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Commercial, HR) to ensure our operational plans align with demand and capacity.
  • Take ownership of special projects assigned by the Senior Director of Operations/Operations Leadership to improve operational flow and efficiency.

Relevant Job Experiences, Skills, and Key Requirements for this Role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in an operations, production, planning, or scheduling support role (manufacturing, food & beverage, CPG, or similar environments a strong plus).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience with scheduling, planning, or ERP tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage many moving parts at once.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—you enjoy making sense of data, constraints, and priorities to build smart schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly with operators, supervisors, and leadership.

Why this role matters

  • Category expansion: You’ll lead the launches that establish Nulixir’s platform across new use‑cases and channels.
  • Revenue engine: From first meeting to first shipment, you will own the motion—pipeline creation, pilot design, commercial conversion, and expansion.

Build & run the growth machine

  • Translate company targets into quarterly GTM plans with clear ICPs, offers, and routes to market.

  • Design structured pilot programs that de‑risk adoption and set up scalable commercialization.

Create pipeline

  • Source and prioritize target accounts; craft multi‑threaded outbound (email, LinkedIn, events).
  • Spin up landing pages and one‑pagers; draft case studies and technical sell sheets with Product/Science.
  • Launch focused campaigns (webinars, sampling, trade shows) and measure CAC/payback.

Convert & expand

  • Lead discovery, solution mapping, and pilot scoping with prospects; align technical, regulatory/claims, and supply timelines.
  • Run weekly deal rooms; remove blockers; manage mutual action plans to signature and first PO.
  • Drive expansion revenue: multi‑SKU rollouts, new geographies, and cross‑sell into additional functions.

Instrument & improve

  • Own funnel metrics and KPI cadence: pipeline coverage, cycle time, win rate, pilot→commercial conversion, average deal size, gross margin, retention/expansion.
  • A/B test messaging, pricing/packaging, and channel mix; codify what works into repeatable playbooks.
  • Partner with Ops for on‑time launch and with Customer Success for adoption and reorder velocity.


What you bring

  • 7–10+ years in B2B growth, GTM, or revenue leadership (ingredient/CPG, food tech, biotech, or platform B2B a plus).
  • Track record of personally creating pipeline and closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
  • Fluency in GTM tooling (CRM, marketing automation, analytics) and building dashboards that leaders trust.
