We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a locum tenens assignment in Maine. This opportunity starts on May 8, 2026, and features day shifts from 7am to 3pm, with on-call responsibilities to be determined. The provider will support intubation, sedation, IVs, blocks, and obstetrics, working across ortho, OB, GYN, podiatry, and general surgery cases. The assignment will involve working in three operating rooms, including one designated for scopes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Support and perform intubation, sedation, IV therapy, and nerve blocks
• Provide anesthesia services for orthopedic, obstetric, gynecologic, podiatric, and general surgery procedures
• Manage anesthesia care in three operating rooms, with one room designated for scopes
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Deliver anesthesia care for obstetric patients as required by the schedule

Additional Information

• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
• Must be licensed in Maine
• DEA registration is not required for this assignment
• Experience using Cerner EMR preferred
