Job Description:

The Aircraft Integrated Logistics Support Specialist 3 is responsible for developing and recommending support/sustainment solutions for major airborne and ground based weapons systems

by use of long term support principles.

Essential Functions:

* Logistics Support Analysis development and documentation skills (LMI, MIL-PRF-49506, MIL-HDBK-502, GEIA-STD-0007, DEF-STAN-00-60)
* Experienced in developing and managing LSAR (SLICwave/EAGLE/PowerLog)
* Spares analysis using system reliability/maintainability data as related to the maintenance concept
* Life Cycle Cost and Total Ownership Cost focused on operations and support cost estimating
* Training development and management
* Ability to translate system requirements into functional requirements
* Technical proposal writing skills
* Experience with creating labor estimates derived from customer requirements
* Able to work independently or in a team

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree with a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.
The equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience can be considered.

Overall, the objective is to achieve high plant on stream factors utilizing the Kuraray maintenance tools provided and adapted to meet the needs of Calgon Carbon with site specific gap analysis and corrective action plans. Additionally, the Director - Manufacturing Maintenance and Projects will have a global responsibility as maintenance liaison with Kuraray in support of MTE and DX strategies.

Budget for minor projects (up to $1MM) is approximately $30MM for the US Plants. The maintenance budgets for the US plants total is $34MM, and the average annual turnaround spend for the Prime lines is another $5MM per year

 
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Identify project needs, oversee the creation of AR's, plan work, and execute projects for all America’s capital project requirements
  • Manage others, train, and delegate these activities to subordinates to expedite improvement
  • Oversee the development of all aspects of the America’s maintenance budget, including capital projects
  • Strive to maintain spending at the budgeted level
  • Serve as Calgon Carbon’s subject matter expert (SME) pertaining to maintenance in its virgin carbon manufacturing and reactivation facilities and liaison with Kuraray regarding all matters maintenance related
  • Oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of plant maintenance turnarounds on a basis consistent with the maintenance strategy
  • Develop a maintenance strategy that aligns with the plants' goals to reduce product costs and reduce required maintenance capital
  • Manage line managers responsible for supervising the day to day activities of maintenance teams while moving them toward self direction
  • Identify training and development needs of maintenance teams and insure that those needs are met
  • Manage vendor relationships personally and via subordinates to insure that plant needs (quality, costs, and timing) are met

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university) is required
  • Engineering degree required; electrical or mechanical preferred
  • 10+ years Plant maintenance and mid-level management is required
  • 10+ years Plant environment maintenance management experience is preferred

In partnership with AMN Healthcare, Karmanos Cancer Institute and Wayne State University invite applications for a highly accomplished physician-investigator to serve as the Genitourinary Multidisciplinary Team Leader & Medical Director of the Prostate Cancer Center of Excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of GU cancer care and research at an independent NCI Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center that is part of McLaren Health Care, anchoring Michigan's largest cancer research/care network, and home to one of the nation's most expansive clinical trials program.

The Opportunity

The Genitourinary (GU) Oncology program at Karmanos Cancer Institute has been considered a strength for many years; the GU team was the first Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) formed at Karmanos and serves as a model to the other disease site teams. Under the previous leader, Karmanos Cancer Institute partnered with University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center and successfully obtained a Prostate SPORE in 2019 which was funded through 2024. Due to non-overlapping patient populations, future collaboration opportunities exist.

Reporting to the CEO of Karmanos Cancer Institute, the GU Multidisciplinary Team Leader will lead a multidisciplinary team of 16 physician faculty and will also serve as a member of senior leadership committees, including the Scientific Leadership Council, where they will represent the Prostate Cancer Center of Excellence, Medical Executive Committee and the Clinical Leadership Council. The Ideal Candidate

The GU MDT Leader should have experience developing and leading high-functioning multidisciplinary teams within a cancer center as well as experience leading an externally funded program of research supported by NIH, industry, foundation, or other sources. Requirements include an MD, DO, or equivalent terminal medical degree as well as current certification in any of the oncology specialties.

The Opportunity:

Orlando Health announces an exceptional opportunity for an exemplary leader to serve as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Assistant Vice President, Orlando Health. The healthcare system is recognized around the world for Central Florida's only pediatric and adult level I trauma program and the home to the nation's largest neonatal intensive care unit. Reporting to Justin Williams, President OHAPH, the next CNO will serve as the Chief Nurse Executive and a member of the executive leadership team for OHAPH. The CNO providers leadership and coordinates activities, processes, and policies resulting in high quality patient care driven by system-wide nursing practices and standards. Works closely with the Vice President of Nursing for Orlando Health to provide leadership and direction in accord with the organization's mission and values and nursing's core mission, vision and values. Direct reports will include the Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO), Director of Care Management, Manager APH Care Management, Manager Learning Specialists Care Team, and Administrative Supervisors.

The CNO will create a dynamic, compelling vision and strategic roadmap for nursing. The Chief Nurse will foster an environment of nursing empowerment, exemplary professional practice, new knowledge, innovation, continuous improvement and empirical outcomes. The CNO will serve as a member of the executive team and participate in determining the future direction of the organization and developing a vision and strategy to support long-term success. They will work with the executive team to achieve operating and financial outcomes and contribute to the achievement of the organization's goals.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in leadership, including experience in leading patient care providers, creating a vision for patient care and being an advocate for caregivers while achieving organizational goals.
* A Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a Master's Degree in Nursing and/or business or related field required.
* The successful candidate must possess experience in quality management, medical management, administration, operational finance and leadership.
* Maintains current RN licensure in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain.
* Leadership experience in a pediatric setting is required.

Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Chief of Oncology to lead and expand its multidisciplinary cancer program. The Position

Reporting dually to Dr. James Craven, Chief Physician Executive, FMOL Health and Susan Foret, Vice President of Operations for Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute, this is a key strategic leadership position offering a balance of clinical practice and administrative leadership. The incoming Chief will also serve as a visible leader within the organization, building collaboration across specialties, fostering research and quality initiatives, and strengthening relationships with referring providers and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide vision and leadership for the oncology service line.
- Lead a team of 12 oncologists (9 solid tumor, 3 heme malignancy) and 3+ APPs.
- Develop and oversee clinical programs, operational excellence, and quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and the system leadership team.
- Drive integration with referring physicians and outreach sites across the Baton Rouge region.
- Continue to grow the research portfolio; support ongoing and new clinical trials.
- Participate in system-level oncology leadership, working closely with Dr. Lyons (surgical lead) and Dr. Craven (system-level Chief Physician Executive).
