Responsibilities:

We're looking for a design/construction-focused Instrumentation / Fire Alarm Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities.


  • Design/construction-focused Instrumentation / Fire Alarm Engineer working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business, including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
  • Produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications.
  • Design control systems for a variety of processes and develop options/optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program in Electrical, Fire Protection, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) / Life Safety Systems (LSS).
  • Ability to generate complete I&C/LSS design packages (e.g. P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc.) with minimal supervision/oversight.
  • Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
  • Working knowledge of Fire Alarm and Life Safety System regulations/requirements.

Ideally, you'll also have:


  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Fire Alarm System NICET Certification.
  • Experience related to semiconductor fabrication facilities.
  • Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications.
  • Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software.
  • Working knowledge of UL 508A for industrial control panel design.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72 for fire alarm and signaling code.
  • Familiarity with Siemens PLC systems.
  • Familiarity with Edwards EST3 and EST4 Fire Alarm Control Systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teamsPassion for buildings and construction.

Other Requirements:


  • This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Boise, ID.
  • Candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours - nominally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some flexibility based on ability of site to support and employee preference.
  • Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidate.

Physical Requirements:


  • Position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction.
  • Applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25lbs.

About the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies

This newly launched school will further position Georgia Tech as an international leader in research, education, and community and industry engagement at the intersection of arts, technology, and design. The school's pedagogical approach will integrate artistic foundations, technical innovation, and creative entrepreneurship. The school will leverage Georgia Tech's existing strengths in areas ranging from artificial intelligence and student startups to digital media and music technology, adopt the culture of practice-based studio pedagogy in the College of Design, and build sustained partnerships with creative studios, technology providers, startup companies, nonprofits, and artists-in-residence taking advantage of Atlanta's thriving creative ecosystem.

Job Summary

The College of Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites nominations and applications for the position of the founding Chair of the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies in Atlanta, Georgia. We are seeking a visionary, creative, and entrepreneurial academic leader who will develop a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence for studying the intersection of arts practice and emerging technologies.

The chair will have the opportunity to shape a new school that will expand Georgia Tech's academic and research activities and reputation at the intersection of technology and the arts, with the opportunity for substantial impact within Georgia Tech, the state of Georgia, and beyond. The new chair will be expected to provide overall leadership and vision for the development of a comprehensive program of teaching and research and will oversee the hiring of new faculty for the school, as well as new internal joint appointments that might complement those already in place. Over time the Chair will oversee expanding the major to include a pre-college program and a minor and will help develop a vision to expand into a graduate degree.



Responsibilities

The Chair will:

  • Manage academic, fiscal, and personnel matters and ensure the alignment of the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies with the strategic objectives of the College and Institute;
  • Maintain an active role in the academic life of the school by contributing personally to teaching and research;
  • Create strong interdisciplinary relationships with other schools within the College of Design and across campus;
  • Foster an active research culture;
  • Elevate awareness of the school and its programs across the campus, as well as with prospective students, alumni, and community, arts, and industry leaders through relationship building as well as public presentations and speaking engagements;
  • Work with community and corporate leaders' including through the College of Design Dean's Advisory Board and bring a demonstrated passion for community engagement and fundraising, with a commitment to building lasting relationships that support the School and the College's mission and future growth.
  • Develop curricular plans for growth, including growing the major, developing a minor and/or certificate, and envisioning higher-level degrees.
  • Manage space and resources to accommodate growth and ensure technology expansion as technological landscapes change.


Required Qualifications

Candidates must have a terminal degree or professional equivalency related to the intersection of arts, entertainment, and creative technologies with a distinguished record of creative and/or scholarly achievement that typically qualifies for a tenured position at the rank of full professor.



Preferred Qualifications

The candidate must maintain an active commitment to the creative industries, to the technologies that support them (especially film, gaming, and/or immersive media), and to the promotion of excellence in teaching and research and must have the ability to engage with community and industry leaders and work effectively with faculty, students, and administrators. Significant experience in academic or research administration is desirable. We especially encourage candidates with proven or emerging skills in industry partnerships and/or fundraising to apply.

Job Summary

Georgia Institute of Technology seeks a visionary leader to serve as the next Chair of the School of Economics within the Ivan Allen College of the Liberal Arts. The desired appointment start date is no later than July 1, 2026.

The chair will lead a group of more than 30 diverse and talented faculty and staff working in the core research areas of development economics, econometrics, environmental and energy economics, health economics, international trade, and microeconomic theory in fulfilling the research, teaching, and service missions of the School. The chair will provide strategic and operational leadership including, but not limited to: new faculty recruitment, promotion of faculty scholarship and teaching excellence, program quality improvement, fundraising through development and research projects, and budget management.

The chair will be expected to:

  • Lead high-impact initiatives, practices, and strategies that support educational experiences and student success;
  • Envision, articulate, and advance the Schools unique mission within Georgia Tech and Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts strategic plan;
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that supports career development and advancement for staff and faculty;
  • Provide effective financial, academic, and personnel management;
  • Build effective working relationships with constituencies within and outside of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and Georgia Tech;

The ideal candidate should possess effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Experience leading a school or department within a technical institute or a STEM-focused research university is preferred. The qualities of the successful candidate for Chair include:

Evidence of successful leadership at the department, school, college, or campus level(s);
Experience with program creation and/or innovation, or other areas related to curricular and co-curricular student success,
Experience with strategic planning at the department, college, or campus levels;
Experience managing budgets and/or internal or external funding;

The Chair will have the opportunity to build upon the success of the School and the College of Computing. The school has 3 PhD programs in ACO, Computer Science, and Machine Learning as well as Masters and Bachelor degrees which are managed by the College. The School of Computer Science is a leader in the following areas of specialization: Computer Architecture, Data Systems and Analytics, Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Programming Languages and Compilers, Software Engineering, Systems, and Theory. The school has academic faculty, endowed chairs, research faculty, postdocs, adjunct faculty, and classified staff along with several research centers.



Responsibilities

Reporting to the Dean of the College of Computing, the Chair has overall responsibility for the academic and research programs in the School of Computer Science specifically focusing on all budgetary, administrative, academic, fiscal, and personal decisions in conjunction with the mission and goals of the College and Georgia Tech. The chair must have a forward-thinking strategic vision and the appropriate skills to lead a group of faculty and staff. Additionally, the Chair will provide overall leadership for all the school's teaching and research components at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Chair should establish collaborative and interdisciplinary relationships with others Computing School Chairs, with other leaders in the College, as well as all internal and external constituents at Georgia Tech and abroad. Reporting to Justin Williams, President OHAPH, the Inaugural Chief Medical Officer will be a member of the executive leadership team for OHAPH. The CMO is responsible for overseeing and advancing all aspects of quality and patient safety and advancing care delivery capabilities. The School of Music is a global leader in undergraduate and graduate education in music technology, in music and music technology research and creative work. The Opportunity

The Candidate

The Chief of Endocrinology will lead a high performing clinical group within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. The Program   Director is responsible for the oversight and coordination of graduate medical education (GME) activities at Chestnut Hill Hospital as it relates to the ACGME Internal Medicine Residency Program. Home to more than 350 board-certified physicians, Chestnut Hill Hospital is a 148-bed, community focused inpatient and outpatient facility offering a comprehensive range of services.
