Practice Description: It is a Michigan based nonprofit voluntary employees beneficiary association. Organization provides insurance and customer service to public employees and their families; a majority of our members work in Michigan public schools. We serve about 66,000 members plus their families (about 180,000 total covered lives).
This position does not have a patient load, per se. The medical director reviews a variety of cases weekly to determine medical necessity. Cases involved relate to preauthorization of medical services, disability case determinations and appeals. The incumbent medical director completes this work in less than 20 hours per week and with support from registered nurses.
Compensation: The position is an independent contractor for which we negotiate an hourly base rate. We reimburse for all reasonable and approved expenses incurred in connection with the performance of approved services based on Organization travel and expense reimbursement policies
Organization shall maintain professional liability insurance with minimum limits of $100,000/$300,000. Organization will pay the premium for this liability insurance.
SERVICE POPULATION: 180,000 members, primarily public employees and their families.
The independent consulting agreement will be reviewed regularly. The medical director shall maintain all licenses necessary to practice medicine in the state of Michigan and such other licenses as may be required to satisfy obligations under a consulting agreement negotiated between the parties. Organization will reimburse for fees associated with maintaining Board Certifications as follows: exam fee (not to exceed $2,000), exam preparation materials (not to exceed $1,000) and exam preparation course fee (not to exceed $2,500).

The medical director:
- Performs physician-level review of medical and disability claims and
preauthorization requests for coverage determinations.
- Determines medical necessity of requests, including appeals, using medical
policy, established guidelines or current research
- Serves as a clinical resource and subject matter expert to both clinical and nonclinical staff
- Recommends clarifications and updates to medical benefits, including assisting in

Minimum Qualifications
Current unrestricted state of Michigan Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or doctor of osteopathy (D.O.) license
Doctorate from an accredited school of medicine (M.D.) or osteopathy (D.O.)
10+ years of experience as a physician, preferably in a general field of medical practice
Board certified

The State Deputy Director position is a new role in the state that will be vital to increasing our capacity to implement programs and expand our field operations. We are seeking a strong manager to assist with hiring and retention, program planning and execution, external leadership, fiduciary duties, and strengthening our data management and communications. The two key programs and campaigns the deputy director will help us lead (SYCLAC) and grow (Electoral Field programs and campaigns).
- SYCLAC: Seminario y Capacitación para el Liderazgo y Acción Civica (SYCLAC) is a democracy leadership academy for Spanish-speaking communities. SYCLAC is a four-part workshop series designed to inform and empower Latinos to become more civically engaged in their communities. It trains and equips Latinos to be strong voices within their communities. SYCLAC will be a new program in North Carolina, and the Deputy State Director will work closely with a colleague in Georgia, who leads the same program, to launch it in the Triangle.
- Electoral Field Programming: 2026 will be a pivotal year in North Carolina, with an ambitious voter registration goal of 8,500 cards—the largest voter registration effort by a Latino-led organization in the state. We also plan to run an Independent Expenditure (IE) campaign in the U.S. Senate and State Supreme Court races, reaching over 40,000 households through door-to-door outreach in Wake, Durham, Orange, Johnson, Alamance, and Mecklenburg. The Deputy State Director will join forces with the NC Civic Engagement Manager and our seasonal Field Manager and Assistant Field Manager to help us scale up the voter registration program and IE campaigns.

Desired Qualifications:

Qualifications:

- Equivalent work experience in lieu of minimum education and related experience; 5 years of related experience in global education

- Knowledge of standards and best practices in the field of global education

DIRECTOR OF NURSING POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Nursing (DON) is a supervisory nursing position who works in a correctional setting in which nursing services are required on a 24-hour basis. The DON supervises and coordinates the activities of nursing personnel in one or more patient care units. The DON verifies that patients’ needs are met and evaluates nursing care and patient care unit performance. They participate in the planning of work for assigned units and coordinate activities with other patient units/departments. The Position
- The Center Director of PACE will provide overall leadership and oversight for the PACE program, ensuring effective administration, regulatory compliance, quality care delivery, and program growth.

The individual will complete the rating process by analyzing cash flows, evaluating technical aspects of a project, reviewing credit documentation, transaction structures, and financial statements, and preparing internal credit reports for rating committees.
About the Job:- Assign new ratings and complete surveillance for complex infrastructure and energy project finance transactions by: forecasting future performance using mathematical models; leading the rating process by preparing internal credit reports and submissions for rating committees, analyzing cash flows, and evaluating the legal, contractual, and technical aspects of a project; and reviewing and stressing financial models to assess credit risk.
- Train junior members of the team on credit, legal, and structural analysis of infrastructure transactions.
- Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
- Develop rating methodology for new asset types and new jurisdictions where KBRA has not previously rated transactions.
- Facilitate client relationships with project sponsors.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, management, or related field.
- 5 years of prior experience within project finance & infrastructure or 5+ years of prior experience as a credit risk analyst
- 5 years of experience: performing credit analysis in a rating agency, buy-side, credit research, banking, or similar environment; utilizing financial, statistical, and economic analysis skills for financial modeling and cash flow analysis; writing research reports; and presenting research and analysis to senior committee members; creating and modifying project and infrastructure finance models; and using Microsoft Excel, including formulas and shortcuts, to analyze large datasets; and
- 2 years of experience with: deal execution or credit risk analysis of power and renewables project financings; and deal execution or credit risk analysis of project and infrastructure finance transactions.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 to $175,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
