Responsibilities

Mayo Family Clinic Southeast provides comprehensive Primary Care services, including Family Medicine and Community Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine (CPAM). In this role, LPNs support the care of patients from birth through death, in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. LPNs deliver care in-person, via phone or video as well as web-based interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care within scope of practice for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Conducts focused assessments and reinforcement of patient education
  • Administers medications, immunizations, and treatments such as injections, ear lavages, nebulizer treatments, wound care, catheter care, and suture/staple removal

Qualifications

  • One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred.

Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations.
