Project Manager

Overview

A well-established and rapidly growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to join its Phoenix team. This role will lead the planning and execution of ground-up and large-scale tenant improvement projects across multiple sectors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Lead buyout, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration
• Coordinate closely with superintendents, field teams, architects, and ownership groups
• Manage RFI, submittal, and change order processes
• Monitor project financial performance including forecasting and cost tracking
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Provide leadership to project teams while maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Experience with ground-up commercial and/or large tenant improvement projects
• Background working for a general contractor
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract management
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain project timelines
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
