About The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm that focuses on criminal defense and family law. The firm is seeking a Temporary Legal Assistant to support its attorneys through all phases of case management and litigation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong writing skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. Job Description
In this role, you will support attorneys handling both criminal defense and family law matters. You will be responsible for preparing documents, conducting research, managing case files, coordinating communications, and assisting with trial preparation. The work requires professionalism, accuracy, strong client interaction skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including motions, pleadings, affidavits, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- Assist with criminal law cases by reviewing evidence, organizing discovery, preparing case summaries, and supporting trial preparation.
- Support family law cases involving divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, and protective orders.
- Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis and prepare written summaries.
- Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and track deadlines, hearings, and court dates.
- Perform state and federal court e-filing and ensure adherence to procedural rules.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and law enforcement agencies.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of discretion.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of legal administrative experience, ideally in criminal defense and/or family law.
- Strong understanding of state court procedures and filing requirements.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and operate independently under deadlines.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and client-service orientation.
- Paralegal certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies.
- Experience preparing trial materials and supporting attorneys in trial settings.
- Familiarity with local court rules and e-filing systems.

Temporary Nurse Practitioner, Aerodigestive Center
Target start date May 2026, ending date December 2026
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing patient care coordination, education, and evaluation of care needs for Aerodigestive Center patients in the outpatient setting
• Partnering with physicians, nurse practitioners, staff nurses, administrative support staff, and multidisciplinary team members (including pulmonary, ORL, SLPs, dietitians) to provide direct team based and independent patient care in the outpatient clinic setting.
• Providing care coordination by maintaining frequent contact with patients and families between clinic visits including acting as triage contact for patient phone calls and questions as needed, coordinating diagnostic studies and procedures and communicating with referring providers.
