Job Summary
BELL Construction is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Nashville, TN. The Project Manager (PM) is responsible, with the Project Superintendent, for the overall management and administration of commercial construction projects ($5 - $50 million). This includes involvement in preconstruction services, estimating, subcontractor management, submittal processing, meeting the schedule budget, and achieving high quality on all projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Has a solid understanding of construction safety practices. Has full ability to stop work if unsafe conditions exist and reports concerns to the Project Superintendent and Safety department.
- Understands all trades, including MEP, and has strong knowledge of ground up construction.
- Conducts constructability reviews as design progresses and develops conceptual and detailed quantity survey estimates.
- Assists preconstruction department with solicitation of subcontractor proposals, development of subcontractor bid packages, review of subcontractor scopes and pricing, and preparation of project estimate.
- Accurately and efficiently prepares detailed schedules, making adjustments as needed.
- Forecasts costs throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Understands different delivery methods and contract types and able to foster and maintain construction management, design-build, and design-assist relationships.
- Provides guidance and oversight to project team members responsible for project documentation and regularly verifies for accuracy and deficiencies.
- Supervises the submittal process, identifying and resolving any high impact issues that occur.
- Makes subcontractor selection and manages entire subcontract process. Can negotiate and resolve nearly all subcontractor issues and knows when to include higher level team members from both sides.
- Trains, mentors, coaches, and evaluates Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Develops financial management skills by reviewing financial statements with Senior Team Leadership.
- Understands and monitors construction insurance and bonding process.
- Develops project-specific punchlist approach and integrates owner, CM, and designers into the program. Arranges and attends the punchlist walkthrough.
- Manages project closeout from beginning to end.
- Monitors costs on Self-Performed Work, developing mitigating measures as needed.
- Understands and manages all costs associated with a change request.
- Partners with the Safety Director and Quality Control Director to manage and ensure compliance with each program’s policies, protocols, and government regulations for all projects.
- Ensures a harassment-free workplace for all employees.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Minimum required – Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum required – Two (2) years Assistant Project Management experience.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to use and implement new tools and technologies, such as Viewpoint, Bluebeam, and other Building Information Models (BIM) software.
- Knowledge of local markets with ability to develop and maintain business relationships.

Under the supervision of licensed behavioral health professionals, the technician facilitates therapeutic, educational, and recreational group activities designed to promote positive coping skills, reduce behavioral issues, and support overall mental health.

- Lead group therapy activities
- Work with the behavioral health team to plan treatment goals for specific clients

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000.

What you’ll do:
The Senior SCADA Engineer will lead the design, implementation, integration, and administration of our VTSCADA and real-time operational systems supporting distributed energy assets. This role combines engineering depth, system ownership, and team leadership, with responsibility for designing scalable SCADA architecture that enables rapid fleet growth while proactively improving system reliability to reduce downtime and operational risk. You will serve as the technical authority across SCADA architecture, integrations, grid support telemetry, and real-time operations systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- SCADA Architecture & System Ownership: Lead SCADA system design, development, and maintenance; set standards for telemetry, alarms, and data integrity; provide technical oversight and serve as escalation authority; ensure compliance with cybersecurity and operational standards.
- Grid & Utility Integrations: Design ICCP integrations and telemetry models for utility and market participation; ensure secure, reliable data flow with external entities.
- Real-Time SCADA Operations: Oversee engineering, commissioning, and operational support for SCADA systems; maintain uptime and performance; review site SCADA designs and configurations; support system upgrades and enhancements; collaborate with IT and Operations for secure infrastructure.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive automation, tooling, and database improvements; strengthen change management and governance processes; enhance system reliability and operational performance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering/Science field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years SCADA engineering experience (VTSCADA, Siemens, Emerson, or similar) in energy or utility environments
- 5+ years supporting real-time operational systems
- Hands-on ICCP/utility data exchange experience (ERCOT, RTOs, ISOs)
- Experience with Autosol ACM or similar utility-grade SCADA platforms
- Strong understanding of grid operations, telemetry architecture, and distributed energy/microgrid systems
- Proficiency with distributed systems, Windows servers, networking, cybersecurity, and relational databases (e.g., MS SQL)
- Experience leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and establishing governance standards
- Demonstrated track record improving system reliability, reducing operational risk, and enhancing real-time system performance

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for the Electrochemical Module comprised of castings, machined parts, welding, complex assemblies and pressure vessels.
- Construct robust procurement plans that identify proper sequence of events to deliver a value chain that enables commercial deployment.
- Identify cost-out initiatives, in alignment with technology, engineering and finance, to enhance techno-economics of the Electrochemical Module whilst maximizing system performance.
- Identify manufacturing strategies via supply partnerships and contract manufacturing offices to deliver a cost effective, quality product for global project deployments.
- Collaborate with engineering and project execution to develop thorough bid packages (e.g., RFQs, ITBs).
- Establish supplier selection criteria, evaluate alternative suppliers, manage the RFQ process, lead complex bid analysis and drive final supplier selection in partnership with project execution, engineering, quality, and other cross-functional partners.
- Properly prepare for and negotiate various agreements as needed with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms.
- Formulate contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead times, single sources, and geopolitical influences along the supply chain.
- Accountable for staying informed of industry trends, best practices, and unlocking supplier innovations for designated categories.
- Analyze and validate current cost models, adjusting as needed, to enable accurate and fast project economic analyses.
- Lead strategic supplier relationships, driving collaboration, performance accountability, and continuous improvement across key metrics.
- Support project execution with certain tactical procurement needs as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree or relevant certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP is a plus).
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a track record of implementing global supply chain strategies.
