CT Tech FT Rotating Position Summary Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.

Responsibilities Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity.

Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.

Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Collects pertinent patient history and documents on requisition.

Checks for accuracy of ordered exams by comparing to written physician order.

Verifies correct patient by using two forms of identity verification, prior to injecting patient or starting exam.

Maintains patient confidentiality per established CHN policies regarding HIPAA rights and practices.

Completes consent forms as indicated per procedure.

Completes pregnancy forms, oxygen transportation forms, medication reconciliation forms.

Inputs and processes requisitions.

Inputs all pertinent information and provides image/film history to radiologists for review and comparison.

Starts intravenous access as needed, and performs I.V.

injections using proper technique.

Understands how to treat patients with infiltrated IV sites.

Understands management of patients with elevated Creatinine levels.

Maintains proper oxygen therapy on patients who require oxygen.

Maintains skills required to change oxygen tanks.

Must be able to use masks and nasal canula.

Adjusts rate of O2 flow with mask/nasal canula according to written physician orders.

Secures, transports, and secures e-cylinders.

THE CT TECH FT ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION Certification Required: ARRT- R&N (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) and AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE).

Certification Required: ARRT- CT; obtain CT certification within 2 years of hire/transfer date.

Complete Health Partners is looking for an experienced Limited X-Ray or ARRT Radiology Tech to join our Advanced Primary Care practice in West Nashville. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits, PTO, and shift differentials. The pay range is $30-$33 per hour depending on experience. Skills in Medical Assisting are required.

The objective for this role is to provide radiologic coverage for specific times of the week, as well as, medical assistant coverage as needed. If you have an ARRT and TN State License (limited or full scope radiography) and you're flexible, team oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity for you!

Our clinic has new DR equipment, with image acquisition and display within 30 seconds and a float-top table. Clinic hours are generally 9 am - 7 pm, 7 days a week.

Requirements:

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

- Operate or oversee the operation of radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan.

Job Summary:

The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sleep Services or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. - Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history).

- Perform appropriate physiological calibrations to ensure proper signals and make required adjustments.
- Follow lights out procedures to establish and document baseline values (such as body position, oxyhemoglobin saturation, respiratory and heart rates, etc.).
- Perform data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free. Identify, correct and document artifact.
- Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
- Implement appropriate interventions (including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, etc.).
- Follow lights on procedures to verify integrity of collected data and complete the data collection process (e.g. repeat the physiological and instrument calibrations and instruct the patient on completing questionnaires, checking for completeness, etc.).
- Score sleep/wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines.
- Score clinical events (such as respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movements, arousals, etc.) utilizing AASM standards.
