Job Description
Essential Functions:
Must be able to perform all special procedures to an acceptable level to the radiologist.Β Operating angiography equipment, contract injections, proper use of stints, catheters, and guide wires.
Properly documents all patient history, impressions and other information, properly labels films and other patient records.
Insures patient comfort with the use of all accessories including management of IV pumps and supplies.Β Insures that the patients are aware of your concern for them through proper communication and emphasis on patient comfort needs.
Performs general radiography exams including pacemakers and operating room procedures.
Maintains supplies and equipment to a level that insures the best possible patient care, safety and convenience.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
Additional Job Description
Education: Associates Degree from an AMA approved school of radiological technology.Β Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, Cardio- Interventional Vascular Registry (CIVR) or Cardio-Interventional Vascular Therapy (CIVT).

Job Description

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.Β Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.Β Must be familiar with age specific criteria.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.Β Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.
