Job Description

HR Assistant – On‑Site

City of Industry, CA

Pay: $22 to $25 Per Hour

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organize Bilingual Spanish HR Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations. This role provides administrative and operational support across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, recordkeeping, data entry, and HR programs. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations Support

• Document employee concerns and route to HR Generalist

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Recruiting & Onboarding

• Assist with job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling

• Support onboarding tasks, prepare new‑hire packets, and print employee badges

Employee Support

• Serve as a point of contact for HR questions

• Provide translation support (written and verbal) as needed

Data Management & Recordkeeping

• Maintain accurate digital and physical employee files

• Conduct periodic audits for compliance

• Perform timely HR data entry and routine filing

HR Operations

• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations

• Support payroll preparation by gathering and verifying data

• Respond to requests from the Leave of Absence department

• Assist with planning and coordinating HR events and activities

• Print and distribute employee badges

• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or HR coursework preferred.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in HR, administrative support, or related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work onsite every day.
