The Clinic LPN assists physicians with examinations and procedures to serve the medical needs of patients with various health conditions in a professional, confidential, and caring manner. Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA certification)
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience preferred; experience with general and orthopedic cases and regional techniques a plus
- Willingness to obtain New York CRNA/RN license if not already held (candidates needing licensure will be considered) — strong fit for New York CRNA jobs
- Availability for 4 weeks per month during the assignment
- Familiarity with iPro EMR or similar perioperative charting systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and perioperative evaluations
- Obtain and verify informed consent for anesthesia
- Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and alternatives with patients
- Induce, maintain, and safely emerge patients from anesthesia for general and orthopedic cases
- Perform regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks as appropriate
- Monitor patient physiological status and perform clinical interventions as needed
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner in the iPro EMR
