.Job Summary
The Creative Arts Therapist will lead an afternoon recreation/social skills program designed for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (age 3-21), from 2PM to 5 PM Mon-Thursday. The therapist will design, implement, and facilitate recreational, social-skills, and developmental activities that promote engagement, communication, and personal growth in a supportive, structured environment.
Essential Functions
- Completes intake screenings and initial psychosocial assessments of prospective patients and families (10%).
- Comprehensive intake evaluations will be completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Establishes family centered plan of care with patient/ family input in collaboration from the interdisciplinary team. Develops an individualized treatment plan at the appropriate intervals for all patients on assigned caseload (10%).
- Individualized treatment plans will be developed within 30 days of admission. Ensures adherence to the treatment plan.
- Provides developmentally appropriate therapeutic creative arts interventions for individual and group support.
- Recognizes, addresses, and utilizes therapeutic creative arts interventions to facilitate mastery and coping 30%).
- Performs creative arts clinical interventions that facilitate optimal client functioning and reduction of substance use.
- Program patients receive evidence-based creative arts interventions.
- Collects clinical data to track patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes (5%).
- Patient intervention data is gathered and tabulated in a timely fashion and is utilized in treatment planning.
- Provides care coordination services to a caseload of patients. Acts as an advocate for patients with other social service agencies and makes referrals and follows up as clinically indicated (5%).
- Ensures coordination of all client services. All referrals are appropriate to client needs. Barriers to patient engagement and participation have been addressed.
- Maintains clinical records in compliance with State and Federal regulatory agency requirements and program policies and procedures. Documents all interventions and significant contacts with the patient and other agencies (10%).
- Enters records of contacts with clients on weekly basis; completes required assessments and other documentation according to program policies and procedures. Clinical records are compliant upon monthly QA audits.
- Participates in team meetings and/or discussion regarding patient care or practice issues (5%).
- Presents relevant clinical information at case conferences and contributes to team decisions regarding treatment planning.
- Initiates transition/discharge planning for caseload of patients. (5%)
- All patients on caseload receive appropriate discharge planning.
- Receives clinical supervision from the PhD Psychologist/ Healing Arts team (5%).
- Attends weekly supervision and program meetings in a timely fashion. Presents cases at weekly supervision.
- Utilizes professional communication (clear, respectful) to establish and maintain effective professional relationships (5%)
- Sends appropriate and timely correspondence via phone messages, e-mails, etc.
- Incorporates recreational and contingency management services into treatment (5%).
- Patients receive evidence-based recreational and contingency management services.
- Performs other duties as assigned (5%).
- Demonstrates responsiveness to supervision and program needs.

- Master cold outreach: calls, emails, walk-ins – you thrive on it and turn “no” into “hell yes”
- Build irresistible relationships: personalized video lookbooks, teaser samples, storytelling that makes buyers feel FOMO if they don’t stock Strawberry Paris
- Close wholesale accounts with boutiques, concept stores, and multi-brand retailers across the US, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East
- Own your territory and numbers – smash monthly targets and stack uncapped commissions
- Rep the brand in person at Coterie NY, Paris Fashion Week showrooms, LA Market Week, and pop-ups – charm buyers face-to-face and walk away with orders
- Build a black book of the hottest boutique owners on the planet
- Collaborate directly with the founder on big-account strategy (think go-sees at The Dreslyn, Lisa Says Gah, Revolve, Free People, etc.)
Who You Are
- 1–4 years sales experience (fashion wholesale = huge plus, but raw hunger and proven results beat years on paper)
- Persuasive, polished, proactive, and a little ruthless when closing
- Rejection fuels you – it’s just foreplay to the next big “yes”
- You know the difference between Shopbop and Ssense, have strong opinions on who’s sleeping on the boho revival, and can sell the dream
- Fearless on the phone, magnetic in person, comfortable on camera (you’ll film quick iPhone videos for buyers)
- Willing to travel (trade shows, store visits, Paris trips)

Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health.

Opportunity Details:
- Typical work schedule is 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Weekend Coverage is usually once a month and includes holidays
- Diagnostic evaluation of surgical pathology specimens, frozen sections, participation in conference/tumor boards, and autopsy sign-out
- Review and sign out of surgical pathology biopsy, excision, and resection cases
- Review may include screening and sign out cytopathology cases
- Prioritize malignant cases and submit all first-time malignant cases for daily intradepartmental consensus conference for peer review and concordance
- Ensure completion of cases within the required turnaround time (TAT)
- Participate in internal and external quality assurance and performance improvement activities, departmental meetings, and facility-wide training as needed
- Perform other clinical activities as requested by the Service Director or Department Chair
Qualifications:
- Board Eligibility and/or Certification in Anatomic or Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology
- Experience in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology preferred
- New York State Physician License
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $270,000* (board eligible); $280,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $392,520** (board eligible) and $403,520** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520**.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
