Position Concept:
The Director of Clubhouse Operations is responsible for exceeding expectations for members and guests throughout the clubhouse and aquatics areas. This position oversees daily operations of the clubhouse team including front-of-house dining, aquatics, and housekeeping. The role focuses on developing a professional service culture, supporting strong member engagement, and maintaining financial responsibility while highlighting the amenities and programming at Hoover Country Club.
Specific Responsibilities:
Ø Manages long-range staffing needs of the front-of-house, aquatics, and housekeeping teams
Ø Oversees the overall operation of the clubhouse and pool at the direction of the membership’s House Committee
Ø Ensures effective onboarding and training for all new team members
Ø Implements team development and training activities for clubhouse staff

Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Surgical Technologist you are responsible for assisting with the delivery of quality surgical care. You will be responsible for coordinating with the circulating perioperative nurse during surgical procedures. You are responsible for all major surgical specialty areas; including gathering and preparing sterile supplies, equipment, preparing/maintaining the sterile field. You will assist the surgeon by supplying sterile instruments/supplies to the sterile field in a safe and efficient manner. You will follow current AORN and regulatory standards and established policies and procedures of the System.
What you will do In This Role:
- You will plan for and obtain the equipment and supplies needed for assigned procedures according to physicians' preference and specific patient needs.
- You will prepare equipment and supplies according to manufacturer's recommendations and specifications for uses during surgical procedures.
- You will open sterile packs, instruments and supplies for each procedure according to established aseptic techniques and protocols.
- You will monitor sterile field during procedure and takes appropriate measures to insure integrity.
- You must initiate corrective action for any break in technique.
- You will prepare medications and solutions for use during procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse, according to physician’s orders.
- You will maintain accountability for instruments, sponges and sharps, according to hospital policy throughout the surgical procedure to ensure that no foreign objects are retained in the surgical wound.
- You will take appropriate action if item count is not correct and will inform the appropriate staff.
- You will consistently follow safety procedures and protocols for Timeout when handling sharp instruments, powered equipment, hazardous chemicals and lasers.

4. Assists with providing care for the patient both pre-, intra, and post specialized procedure. Will aid with transporting and positioning patient on the operating bed, specific to operative procedure, type of anesthetics to be used, and use of protective devices as indicated.

6. What You’ll Do:
- Report directly to a Cross Country Education Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct speech-language services aligned with student IEP goals
- Help students improve outcomes in classroom activities, social interactions, learning, and literacy
- Travel to one or a few assigned school sites – we aim to minimize travel when possible by assigning nearby locations

What will be expected of you:
- Greet incoming members and guests
- Front desk duties, which include answering phones, making room reservations, helping with membership, and assisting guests
- Operate a Windows-based computer system and switchboard
- Security patrols and routine equipment checks
- Enforce access policy in accordance with clubhouse policies to minimize unauthorized individuals from entering Clubhouse buildings
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Report medical emergencies, criminal activity, accidents, damage to property, and any incidents regarding security that occur on Club property
- Assist local law enforcement and Fire Department personnel agencies during their response to incidents involving Club property or personnel
- Administer CPR, First Aid, and Defibrillation as trained
- Locking and unlocking of the building
- Granting access to buildings/rooms as requested
- Distribute newspapers
- Direct calls and guests to appropriate parties
- Keep informed of daily Club activities, events, and changes.
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, and two-way radio
How we determine your qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent Degree, required
- Must pass State & Federal background check, required
- Current Maryland Security Guard Certification or eligible for certification, required
- CPR/AED certification, preferred
- 1-year customer service experience, preferred
- 2-year security experience, preferred
- Shifts - morning shifts, day shifts, and overnight shifts. Work days will include weekdays, weekends, and holidays; need to have flexibility
