The role:
The Quality Control Scientist is responsible for execution and oversight of analytical, microbiological, and environmental testing to ensure the safety and quality of cell therapy products and manufacturing operations. The role includes performing GMP testing to support development, donor screening, in-process control, product release, stability, raw material release, and environmental monitoring in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The QC Scientist serves as a technical resource for analytical methods such as flow cytometry and other cell-based assays, supports assay and equipment qualification, and ensures data integrity and regulatory compliance. Additional responsibilities include authoring or revising procedures, leading continuous improvement initiatives, supporting investigations, contributing to assay development efforts, and train staff as needed.
In the role you will:
- Perform analytical, microbiological, and environmental testing in support of development, donor-screening, in-process control, product release, stability, and raw-material release in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements.
- Serve as a technical lead for flow-cytometry–based analytical assays, including instrument setup, compensation, gating strategy, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Perform and review cell count assays and evaluate data.
- Support method qualification, validation, and transfer for flow cytometry, cell counting, and other analytical assays; ensure accurate, reproducible data generation.

- Support and provide technical input to deviation, OOS, and CAPA investigations, ensuring scientific rationale and data integrity.
- Participate in equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance programs, and assist in implementation of new or revised analytical methods.

- Maintain compliance with GMP, data-integrity, and safety requirements, ensuring laboratory readiness for internal and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications: About you
- Minimum 4-6 years relevant QC experience in a GMP and cleanroom environment, supporting biologics or cell therapy products.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and microbiological testing, including flow cytometry, cell counting, endotoxin, sterility, and environmental monitoring.
- Proven experience supporting method qualification, validation, and transfer activities.
- Strong understanding of data review, good documentation practices, and data integrity.

About This Role Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager (SAM) to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies, establish relationships with customers, and ensure a successful sale of our products. - Member of the multi-disciplinary team tasked with reviewing and approving of Payer regulated content prior to it being used
- Supports the development of AMCP standard and pre-approval dossiers, Medicaid formulary requests, and custom requests working collaboratively with Medical Affairs and Real-World Value & Evidence (RW V&E) therapeutic area leads.
- Engages in shaping and development of the Payer Digital Assets in collaboration with Med Info CSI/
- Digital partners.
- Works closely with RW V&E Field, Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area team(s) and Medical Information Scientific Engagement Contact Center to guide creation and delivery of responses to unsolicited Medical Information Requests from Payers and Health Systems
- Supports the development and dissemination of scientific information in support of assigned products to Clinical Decision Resource Organizations (CDRO) in partnership with Medical Information Affairs, RW V&E, SCG, Therapeutic Teams
- Support interactions with drug compendia and collaborates with AD, Med Info PHS and business partners to evaluate strategies for compendia interactions.
- Ensures optimized delivery of high-quality and efficient Payer scientific content and materials by vendors, provides real-time feedback and first line scientific review of materials as needed. Voice of Customer and Metrics – 20%
- Leverage voice of customer and other sources of customer information and identify actionable items to enhance the development of Payer and Health Systems materials.
- Projects and Research – 10%
- Participates in ad-hoc projects and activities as assigned by management.
- Conducts benchmark and research on the landscape of Payer, Healthcare Intermediaries, and health systems

Therapeutic Certified Recreational Therapist
Part Time Position
Range: $25 - $32 per hour

- Provide therapeutic recreation-based treatment program opportunities, including individual and group therapy, in a safe, effective manner to all program participants.
- Complete assessment/evaluation in the areas of Recreational Therapy upon admission for all program participants.
- Work directly with paraprofessional staff to facilitate training and program participant growth in the areas of Recreational Therapy.
- Assist in the development of the rehabilitation plan of care to meet the needs of each program participant.
- Communicate with the program participant, family, and funders as needed regarding participant status and need of services.
- Remain current and compliant with federal, state, and accrediting body regulations and standards.
- Adhere to work practices consistent with Mentor mission, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to code of ethics, standards of practice, and continuing education requirements of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
- Procure and maintain all recreational equipment to assure safe and appropriate use by program participants and staff.
- Advocate and educate staff, program participants, and families in the areas of recreational therapy and therapeutic recreation.
- Maintain best practice methods through continued education coursework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy.
- Two years of experience in a rehabilitation environment and/or work with persons with neurological and developmental deficits.
- Certification of CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist).
- Knowledge of rehabilitative techniques relative to recreation for persons with diverse neurological impairment.
- Ability to interpret evaluations from various disciplines (Neuropsychology, Occupational/Speech/Physical Therapies) and understand the relevance to your practice.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly.
- A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance.
