The Effector Digital Products (EDP) department develops electronics for our weapon system products. We are responsible for the architecture, design, and documentation of deliverable FPGA embedded processing. We engage at the outset of the weapon system development and follow our designs through deployment. Our products are deployed all over the world, from the ground to exoatmospheric environments and into space. 
 
As a Principal FPGA Design Engineer you will develop FPGA designs for all major vendors and device families including: Xilinx, Altera, and Microsemi. Designs are implemented using VHDL for the following applications: gigabit serial interfaces, Radio Frequency (RF) and Electro-Optical (EO) DSP, controls, data links, embedded processing and processor interfaces.

Designers work with circuit card designers and systems engineers to develop requirements, architect new parts, collaborative modeling of algorithms, partition and perform code development, simulation, and place and route. Designs are verified against requirements using both directed test and constrained random methodologies. Design support is expected from requirements definition through integration and test. Design documentation and configuration management are required.

This position is 100% ONSITE in Tucson, Arizona.

What You Will Do

• Deliver production-quality FPGA releases from initial proof of concept to production

• Architect FPGA-based systems to determine parts, interfaces, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS)

Qualifications You Must Have

Position Summary

We are seeking a Crane Service Technician – Level 2 to join our team. This position is ideal for experienced technicians with strong mechanical and electrical skills who are ready to take on more complex service tasks. You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists, including advanced troubleshooting and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of overhead cranes and hoists per OEM manuals and OSHA standards.
• Work on 3-motion cranes with VFDs (no encoder) or contactors, including 5-speed pendants or remotes.
• Service and troubleshoot uncommon brake systems such as Whiting SESA and Magnetek thruster brakes.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of AC control circuit principles including Ohm’s Law and voltage drop.
• Troubleshoot and repair contactor motor control systems.
• Rig up and install new crane equipment with proper safety and mechanical procedures.
• Explain repair plans, troubleshooting processes, and required parts to customers clearly and professionally.
• Properly diagnose mechanical components including wheels, bearings, and reducers.
• Identify and understand crane control components in hoist and bridge panels.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for Entry-Level Product Review Engineers (Liaison Engineers) to join the 787 Production Engineering team located in North Charleston, SC.

This position includes a 9-to-12-month Boeing Training Rotation Program and will require a flexible schedule, which may involve assignments on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, as well as occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays based on business needs.

The Product Review Engineers will perform/support troubleshooting, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) technical analysis, and provide solutions to non-conforming products. They will work directly with cross functional and production engineering teams to meet production program objectives.

This position involves daily exposure to a factory environment which includes stairs, trip hazards, high noise areas, chemical hazards (breathing and handling), and entering airplanes during their many stages of building.

Position Responsibilities:

• Researches and builds knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues
• Assists with analyses, root cause analysis and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances
• Assists system owner in preparation of technical communications
• Identifies analyses fleet data, collects and evaluates data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues
• Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety

  The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The Effectors Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test.  We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.  Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, to develop a test system for all RTX products.  These core activities may be performed for both lab engineering and factory production test systems.  The candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development and will be responsible for leading the technical, cost and schedule aspects of their assigned projects. They will be expected to act in a leadership capacity as a part of their team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.

What You Will Do:

• You will be a leader of multi-discipline engineering teams performing design, development, and integration of Raytheon test products

• Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis

• You will lead the completion of all stages of test product development, and will be responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of the assigned projects

• You will be expected to lead, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Previous work experience with electrical engineering design and/or analysis tools such as: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, or equivalent

• Experience with analog, digital, and/or RF design

• Experience designing, testing or integrating digital, mixed signal, and/or electrical system interconnects

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum experience 7 years

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with commonly used test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.

• ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

• Experience developing and implementing functional strategy, establishing and improving processes, standards or operational plans for work area that will have impact on the achievement of functional results. 

• Recognized master of test systems, design and development, having deep knowledge of theory and organizational practices within test development.

• Communicates with parties within and outside of own function, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organization, (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.).  Tasking may include conducting briefings with senior leaders, executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization or program

ECMO Specialist

Location: Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC

Unit: Cardiac ICU

Schedule: Full-time nighthift (7:00PM - 7:00AM)

This is a specialized team small environment and family like team with supportive leadership.

Provides care to patients in cardiac or respiratory failure receiving ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation). Includes monitoring and maintaining ECMO patients and rapid response for ECMOcannulation. Responsible for all aspects of monitoring and troubleshooting the ECMO circuit and related equipment during the treatment period.

Our Cardiac ICU is a specialized unit committed to delivering advanced care to critically ill patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. We care for patients requiring high acuity procedures and interventions including implantation of mechanical circulatory support. We foster a collaborative, team oriented and supportive environment focused on patient-centered care and professional growth.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program or Respiratory Therapy program is required with current licensure and certification as appropriate. For RN, BSN preferred.

Experience: Minimum of (2) two years of direct patient care experience in a neonatal, pediatric or adult ICU setting is required.

License/Certification: Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status according to American Heart Asociation, required. ACLS, preferred.
