Job Summary

The MDS Nurse uses independent judgment in the planning, organizing, directing, and evaluation of activities of the professional and supportive nursing staff engaged in resident plan of care. Evaluates care provided to each resident and keeps care plans current. Is the direct lead in regards to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process. MDS Nurse assists in assessment and evaluation of potential admissions. Upon admission, quarterly and annual, the MDS Nurse completes resident assessments. Collaborates with the resident, family or advocate, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to assure ongoing care of each resident to provide the best quality of life possible. When functioning on the floor, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. The RN cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. The RN is responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.

The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate. As charge, the RN provides adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.

The RN functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.

Qualifications

Graduate from a National League of Nursing (NLN) or American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) accredited nursing program is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements. Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT), management or supervisory experience preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required certifications and completes required continuous education units (CEU) and competency training. Affiliation with an outside professional nursing organization is preferred.

Job Summary

Qualifications

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Minimum age of 18 preferred. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually based on state requirements. Maintains all department specific required certifications. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Iowa: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained.

Minnesota: Must have nursing assistant certification, have completed the 75-hour course and be registered with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Successful completion of a state-approved Trained Medication Assistant course.

North Dakota: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained. If working in an Assisted Living or Basic Care facility, Medication Assistant I certification required. If working in a skilled nursing facility, Medication Assistant II certification is required.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The International Application Engineer I's duties and responsibilities lead to an overall understanding of fundamental activities of factory sales support to DeZURIK direct and independent sales channels. This role prepares list price quotations for non-catalog items, outsourced accessories, and special processing requirements based on costs derived from a variety of internal and external sources. It requires the ability to articulate commercial and technical requirements and communicate in a clear format that will allow the product to be quoted to the end user. Advancement requires understanding of DeZURIK business system, order entry process, products, sales channel support, and factory capabilities to achieve an efficient workflow with acceptable profit margins. This position will focus on International support.

This position is currently eligible for DeZURIK's hybrid work schedule.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Ability to interface well with DeZURIK sales channels, suppliers, internal departments, and other applicable business contacts.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines on a consistent basis.
  • Become proficient in DeZURIK products, international industry standards, business system, manufacturing capabilities and internal tools to make accurate cost estimates for standard and non-standard products.
  • Accurately determine costs and develop list price quotations for all non-standard accessories, testing requirements, materials, and documentation as required by requests for quotation.
  • Develop basic market and product knowledge through hands-on training, websites/webinars, internal training, engineering documentation and other applicable references.
  • Review of incoming production and hold for approval orders while providing order clarification prior to order entry on the plant Operations group.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • No experience required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Demonstrated self-motivation, commitment to task, problem solving, and customer orientation required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - commercial & technical.
  • Ability to understand relevant international industry standards and specifications.
  • Computer literacy for preparing spread sheets.
  • A general understanding of DeZURIK's Export Management System (EMS) manual.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS


  • Physical demands are typical of an office position including extended periods of sitting, extensive use of a personal computer and telephone.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron and boots). The Specialist – International Logistics will be responsible for supporting the distribution, movement, and storage of supplies on a global scale. Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. The NA aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed. Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary. Communicates resident's changing condition and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. May participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.

Qualifications

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.

Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually. Maintains all department specific required certifications.

When applicable, for applicable states, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.

Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor

vehicle report and proof of valid driver's license. Also must be medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of

this position as per our Sanford Driving Policy per the leaders request.

Job Summary

The MDS Nurse uses independent judgment in the planning, organizing, directing, and evaluation of activities of the professional and supportive nursing staff engaged in resident plan of care. Evaluates care provided to each resident and keeps care plans current. Is the direct lead in regards to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process. MDS Nurse assists in assessment and evaluation of potential admissions. Upon admission, quarterly and annual, the MDS Nurse completes resident assessments. Collaborates with the resident, family or advocate, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to assure ongoing care of each resident to provide the best quality of life possible. When functioning on the floor, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. The RN cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. The RN is responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.

The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate. As charge, the RN provides adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.

The RN functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.

Qualifications

Graduate from a National League of Nursing (NLN) or American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) accredited nursing program is preferred. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements. Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT), management or supervisory experience preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required certifications and completes required continuous education units (CEU) and competency training. Affiliation with an outside professional nursing organization is preferred.
